Veterans Day Ceremony Planned At Lake Ellyn

The Nov. 11 ceremony will pay tribute to veterans with musical performances and comments from local officials.

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Glen Ellyn will pay tribute to veterans with a ceremony at the Veterans Memorial at Lake Ellyn, 645 Lenox Rd., on Nov. 11. The celebration will include live music and remarks from local officials.

The ceremony begins at 11 a.m. and is expected to last one hour. The Glenbard South High School marching band and the Glenbard West High School chorus will perform patriotic music.

Remarks will be made by College of DuPage President Dr. Brian Caputo, David Tepper, a veteran of the U.S. Navy and Kathy Szymanowski from the Daughters of the American Revolution.
