Viewfinder: Glenbard South Volleyball in Full Swing

The Glenbard South girls volleyball team is off to a quick start.  The Raiders are 8-5 in 2011 with a lot more volleyball to be played.  

The Raiders are a fairly young team but their goal is to repeat as Metro Suburban Conference champions. In the recent Labor Day tournament at Aurora West, the Raiders finished fourth in a very tough field.

The Raiders are at full strength for the first time this year and coach Chad Grant has high hopes for the remainder of the season.

The Raiders next home game is Thursday, Sept. 15 at 5:30 p.m. against conference foe Ridgewood.
