At the MAC: Final Performances of "Outside Mullingar"
Opening reception this weekend for "ONE" at the Cleve Carney Art Gallery

This is the final weekend to catch performances of Buffalo Theatre Ensemble's "Jeff Recommended" production of John Patrick Shanley’s romantic comedy “Outside Mullingar,” directed by Steve Scott, at the McAninch Arts Center, 425 Fawell Blvd. now thorough June 3. The Daily Herald gives the show 3.5 stars, Around the Town Chicago, 4 stars... and ChicagoOnStage says "If you have a heart, you'll love 'Outside Mullingar'." Performances are Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m. Tickets are $37. For tickets visit AtTheMAC.org.
And opening this weekend: "ONE," the Cleve Carney Art Gallery’s second annual juried emerging artist exhibition running June 1-July 28. This exhibition provides a survey of contemporary artwork being created by emerging artists in the region and across the country with the goal to serve as stepping stone for those early in their artistic careers. The opening reception is Friday, June 1, 6-8 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
