Wheaton Man Arrested At Home After Child Porn Is Discovered On Computer, Sheriff Says

Man charged with four felony counts of possession and distribution of child pornography after online investigation, DuPage sheriff says.

A 25-year-old Wheaton man was charged with four felony counts of possession of child pornography after he was arrested at his home Wednesday by DuPage County Sheriff’s Police.

Steven Dady of the 2100 block of Fox Run in Wheaton, was served with a search warrant at his home where officers removed various electronics from his home. A forensic examination of the equipment determined the presence and distribution of child pornography files, said Sheriff John Zaruba when announcing the charges.

Dady became the subject of an online investigation by the sheriff office’s Sexual Predator Electronic Exploitation Division. Investigators determined that Dady had allegedly been downloading child pornography from the Internet.

The Wheaton man is being held at the DuPage County Jail and is expected to appear in bond court on Wednesday afternoon.
