Woman Caught With Stolen ID, Car, 8 Wigs: Glendale Heights Police
Police say she said she was disguised when she was pulled over.

GLENDALE HEIGHTS, IL — A Florida woman is facing multiple felony counts after she was allegedly caught Monday with a stolen identity and a stolen car with eight wigs inside of it. Christine Agostinelli, 48, has been charged with identity theft, forgery, and possession of a stolen motor vehicle in connection with the incident.
Police say they pulled Agostinelli over for a fraudulent registration plate Monday. During the traffic stop, Agostinelli allegedly told police her name was Teri Hess. Police also learned that the vehicle she was driving had been reported stolen from a rental car company in Broward County, Florida.
Glendale Heights police performed a search of the car and say they found eight wigs, two checks made payable to Hess, and multiple documents that belonged to Hess. It was also learned that Agostinelli was wearing a wig when she was stopped.

According to police, Teri Hess, a Bloomington resident, reported that her car had been burglarized weeks ago and that the suspect had taken several personal documents.
Referring to the charges against Agostinelli, DuPage County State's Attorney Robert Berlin said, "“It is alleged that Ms. Agostinelli was not only in possession of a stolen car, but also that when questioned about the vehicle, she lied about her identity, an identity that we are alleging she stole from an innocent woman, in an effort to avoid arrest."
