Work Planned On Main Street, North Park Boulevard In Glen Ellyn

Officials say the project will last until the end of this year's construction season.

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Glen Ellyn officials have announced that the village plans to begin a large-scale rehabilitation project to Main Street and North Park Boulevard that is expected to last throughout the rest of this year's construction season. The project includes road resurfacing, sidewalk mending, and other repairs.

The most extensive work will take place between Roosevelt and Crescent on Main Street and between Roosevelt and Fairview on North Park Boulevard. These stretches of roadway, along with the intersection of North Park and Hill, will undergo "extensive utility improvements and be fully reconstructed under the project," village officials said in a news release.

Construction on the project is currently slated to begin in late spring.
