Yard Sign Vandal Sought By Glen Ellyn Cops
Glen Ellyn police seek the public's help in finding a man who has vandalized dozens of yard signs in the village.
GLEN ELLYN, IL — Glen Ellyn Police are looking for a man who has used spray paint to vandalize dozens of yard signs throughout the village. The most recent incident took place in the 700 block of Park Ave. at approximately 2:33 a.m. Saturday.
Similar incidents have been reported in which a suspect sprayed graffiti onto a park dugout and a park district building in late October.
On Oct. 22, video surveillance captured an image of the suspect as he defaced two yard signs and a lamp post in the 200 block of Lorraine with white spray paint. He was described as a heavyset white male who was seen wearing basketball shorts in the footage.

In September, several yard signs were reported stolen, but it is not clear whether these incidents are related to the vandalism.
