2 Dogs Go Missing After Being Left In Running Car For Hours: Glenview Police Blotter

Police said the car was also unlocked when the incident occurred in the 1800 block of Wagner Road.

GLENVIEW, IL — The following information comes from the Glenview Police Department (unless otherwise noted) and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police.   • Joseph Dooley, 22, of the 2100 block of Central Park Avenue, Evanston, is accused of driving under the influence of drugs, use of unsafe tires, driving without lights, unlawful use of cannabis, and was arrested at 8:27 p.m. Jan. 23, in the 700 block of Waukegan Road. He was released and assigned a court date of Feb. 18.
  • Ermuun Uvgunkhuu, 24, of the 1400 block of Shermer Road, Northbrook, is accused of aggravated DUI (no driver's license), aggravated DUI (no insurance), no valid driver's license, no insurance, improper lane usage, driving without lights when required, illegal transportation of alcohol, DUI with blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, and was arrested at 3:15 a.m. Jan. 26, in the 9500 block of Milwaukee Avenue. He was released and assigned a court date of Jan. 28.
  • Otgontogtokh Sanaanorov, 54, of the 9600 block of Golf Terrace, Des Plaines, is accused of DUI, DUI with blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, improper lane usage, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, no valid registration, failure to wear a seatbelt, and was arrested at 7:09 p.m. Jan. 21, at the Glenview police station. The charges stem from a traffic crash investigation that occurred at 10:28 p.m. Jan. 7, in the 1500 block of Milwaukee Avenue. He was released and assigned a court date of March 19.

WARRANT IN STATE

Lisa Tatone, 40, of the 700 block of Crest Avenue, Schaumburg, had a warrant in state, and was arrested at 3:34 a.m. Jan. 24, after an alarm to business investigation in the 2300 block of Lehigh Avenue. He was taken to the Cook County Jail.

A Chicago resident reported to police they had parked their vehicle at 2 p.m. Jan. 14, in the 1800 block of Wagner Road. The vehicle was left running and unlocked, with two dogs inside. When the complainant returned to the car at 4:24 p.m., the dogs were missing.

THEFT

An Estate Lane resident reported at 7:06 p.m. Jan. 14, receiving a Norton pop-up on their computer and they contacted the number. The person advised them that their bank account had been compromised, and they needed to transfer $32,000 to Column National Bank and to not tell anyone. The teller at their bank tried to tell them it was a scam, but they refused assistance and completed the transaction. They later realized it was a scam and the bank is attempting to reverse the transaction.

TRESPASS WARNING

  • Employees for a business in the 9800 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported at 8:15 a.m. Jan. 15, a customer was being rude and causing disturbances because they were unhappy with the wait times. They were given a trespass warning not to return.
  • Police responded to a business in the 9700 block of Milwaukee Avenue at 12:18 p.m. Jan. 16, and spoke to a person who was reportedly annoying customers on a continuing basis. They were given a trespass warning not to return.

STOLEN VEHICLE

Police responded to the 1400 block of Longvalley Road at 9:41 a.m. Jan. 17, for a parking complaint on a vehicle which had been stolen from down the block and left parked. A wallet containing credit cards had been taken from the vehicle. Charges on a credit card later occurred at a gas station in Chicago.
