- Lisa Wolf, 62, of the 1800 block of Rogers Avenue, Glenview, had a warrant out of Lake County for failure to appear, and was arrested at 10:06 p.m. Jan. 12, at her home. She was released and assigned a court date of Jan. 27.
- Freddy Santiago Ahumada Castro, 24, of the 1200 block of Coventry Place, Aurora, had warrants out of DuPage County for failure to appear, and Kane County for aggravated battery to a peace officer, resisting a peace officer, speeding 26 to 34 mph over the limit, no insurance, and was arrested at 11:54 p.m. Jan. 6. He was taken to the Cook County Jail.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
Tiji Vettikattil, 40, of the 2200 block of Ottawa Street, Des Plaines, is accused of driving under the influence, DUI alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, three charges of endangering the life of a child, and was arrested at 5:54 p.m. Jan. 8, following a traffic crash investigation in the 3100 block of Willow Road. He was released and assigned a court date of Jan. 27.

INCIDENTS
STOLEN VEHICLE
A resident of the 2500 block of Osage Drive reported seeing someone approach their vehicle at 3:59 a.m. Jan. 6. The key fob was left inside, and the person took the vehicle. It was later located by Chicago Police and towed.
BURGLARY
A resident of the 2900 block of Landwehr Road reported at 8:38 a.m. Jan. 6, someone had entered their two vehicles, taking two garage remotes and coins. The garage was also entered.
BURGLARY TO VEHICLE
- A resident of the 4000 block of Chester Drive reported video captured two people approaching their vehicle in the driveway at 3:15 a.m. Jan. 6. The resident said one appeared to be carrying a handgun. They pulled on the door handle, but a neighbor’s car started, and the pair fled the scene.
- A resident of the 3700 block of Maple Leaf Drive reported that at 4:02 a.m. Jan. 7, someone had attempted to enter their vehicle, and had also tried the previous night. The person is described as white or Hispanic, 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-9, black gloves, black ski mask, black coat, and red gym shoes. They had arrived in an unknown sedan.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
A resident of the 2100 block of Trowbridge Court reported at 4:25 a.m. Jan. 7, unknown people had entered their vehicle parked on the driveway, arriving in a white 4-door sedan. The garage door opener and debit card was taken. They then entered the service door to the garage. The debit card was used at a gas station in Wilmette.
ARSON
Employees at a property in the 1300 block of Greenwood Road reported at 10:42 a.m. Jan. 7, someone had lit a fire sometime overnight on the field. Total damage is $400.
IDENTITY THEFT
A Hawthorne Lane resident reported at 3:12 p.m. Jan. 7, someone had made several withdrawals from their bank accounts and opened a new cell phone with their carrier. Total loss is $26,763.50. The withdrawals were made at Chicago branches of the bank.
BATTERY
A resident of the 3000 block of Mary Kay Lane reported at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 9, being at a park in the 2600 block of Greenwood Road when four off leash dogs approached. They used a training tool hissing sound to scare the dogs away. The owner of the dogs bumped their chest into them while saying they would take them down. Both parties left the park prior to police arrival.
TRESPASS WARNING
Employees for a business in the 3300 block of Milwaukee Avenue requested at 7:48 p.m. Jan. 9, for police to trespass, a male who had been using their bathroom to bathe himself and yelled at staff. Officers made contact with the male and advised he was no longer welcome at the business. No further police assistance was needed.
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT
A Skokie reported at 2:18 a.m. Jan. 10, four unknown people were standing around their vehicle. When the complainant approached them, they brandished a handgun and said to "get back." Officers arrived on scene and found a red Honda Accord, with a broken rear left passenger window, leaving northbound at a high rate of speed. The four were described as being black, between 15 and 25 years old, wearing ski masks.
RETAIL THEFT
- Employees of a business in the 0 block of Waukegan Road reported at 7:55 p.m. Jan. 10, someone had stolen six bottles of juice but returned them after being confronted by an off-duty officer. The person was trespassed from the store.
- Employees of a business in the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported at 4:15 p.m. Jan. 11, a male had taken a pool cue valued at $255 past the last point of purchase without paying for the item and left in a vehicle.
