GLENVIEW, IL — The following information comes from the Glenview Police Department as a record of police activity and includes both incidents reported by the public and arrests made by police. Criminal charges, which are often dropped or reduced, represent merely accusations. Everyone arrested is innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in court.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT
A patron at a park in the 900 block of Shermer Road reported at 7:13 a.m. on May 29 that a man was exposing himself. The man was reportedly standing in the southwest corner of the Swenson Park with his pants halfway down.

BATTERY
A customer at a business in the 2100 block of Pfingsten Road reported at 12:16 pm. on May 29 that an employee had touched him on the forearm without permission.
TRESPASSING
An employee of a store in the 1000 block of Waukegan Road reported at 12:45 p.m. on May 29 that a man was soliciting money in front of the entrance to the business.
SHOPLIFTING
An employee of a store in the 2700 block of Pfingsten Road reported at 12:53 p.m. on May 29 that someone had filled a basket with 12 bottles of alcohol worth $975 and walked out without paying.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
A resident in the 3500 block of Merle Lane reported at 12:58 p.m. on May 29 that someone had punctured three garden hoses on their property for a reported loss of $75.
BATTERY
A motorist in a parking lot in the 1700 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported at 4:36 p.m. on May 29 that someone spat in their face during an argument.
CONTRACTOR DISPUTE
A resident in the 1400 block of Burr Oak Drive called police at 7 p.m. on May 29 to report that a contractor had improperly drained water from a pool. Police said it was a civil matter.
CREDIT CARD FRAUD
A resident in the 1200 block of Waukegan Road reported at 8:12 p.m. on May 29 that someone had stolen a credit card and made several fraudulent purchases for an unknown amount of loss.
DISPUTE
A customer in the 200 block of Waukegan Road reported at 5:34 a.m. on May 30 that another customer had started an argument about his employer.
THEFT
A resident in the 1000 block of Indian Road reported at 4:16 p.m. on May 30 that someone was refusing to return a borrowed iPad worth $400.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
A resident in the 1700 block of Maplewood Drive reported at 4:33 p.m. on May 30 that a driver’s side rear window had been shattered for a reported loss of $200.
IDENTITY THEFT
A resident in the 2700 block of Commons Drive reported at 9:47 a.m. on May 31 that someone had used their personal information to open a telephone account and buy a telephone.
THEFT
An employee in the 4300 block of Regency Drive reported around 10 a.m. on May 31 that someone had used a credit card without authorization for a reported loss of $9,700.
THEFT
A customer in the 2900 block of Patriot Boulevard reported at 11:23 a.m. that someone had taken a phone worth $550 that had been inadvertently left inside a store.
IDENTITY THEFT
An employee in the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported at 12:40 p.m. on May 31 that someone had used a stolen credit card to buy a refrigerator and a stove for a combined $2,000 and ship them to an address in Dolton.
PUBLIC INDECENCY
A motorist in a parking lot in the 1400 block of Waukegan Road reported at 11:10 a.m. on June 1 that they had witnessed a man walk across the lot "while rubbing his genitals."
BATTERY
An employee in the 1500 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported at 11:37 a.m. on June 1 that a hotel guest had given them an unwanted hug and kiss.
TRESPASSING
An employee in the 600 block of Waukegan Road reported at 2:25 p.m. on June 1 that two teenagers had been trying to climb onto the roof of the business.
TELEPHONE HARASSMENT
An employee in the 9700 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported receiving unwanted telephone calls at 2:32 p.m. on June 1.
THEFT
A bicyclist in the 1400 block of Kittyhawk Lane reported at 10:21 p.m. on June 1 that their $450 bike had been stolen after being left unattended in a yard.
ASSAULT
A referee working in the 3600 block of Glenview Road reported at 4:18 p.m. on June 2 that an irate spectator had threatened to knock him to the ground
CRIMINAL TRESPASSING
A resident in the 3100 block of Landwehr Road reported at 8:32 a.m. on June 4 that someone had tried to open the door of their locked vehicle parked on the driveway in the early morning hours.
BURGLARY
A resident in the 4100 block of Blake Lane reported at 10:48 a.m. on June 4 that someone had stolen a remote door opener from inside of an unlocked vehicle parked on the driveway during the previous overnight hours.
BURGLARY
A resident in the 3800 block of Crestwood Drive reported at 9:10 p.m. on June 4 that someone had gotten into their unlocked car parked on the driveway, stealing a cellphone and a purse from inside during the previous overnight hours for a reported loss of $760.
BATTERY
A resident in the 2200 block of Grandview Place reported at 1:54 p.m. on June 4 that someone had struck them after an argument.
IDENTITY THEFT
A resident in the 2700 block of Langley Circle reported at 5:51 p.m. on June 4 that someone had fraudulently used their credit card number to purchase $500 worth of gift cards from a department store.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
An employee in the 1500 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported shortly before 10 p.m. on June 4 that a guest had begun shouting and banging their hands on a front counter.
THEFT
A resident in the 3500 block of Winnetka Road reported at 5:06 a.m. on June 5 that someone stole an unlocked car worth $20,000 that had been parked in front of their home.
ARRESTS
A 20-year-old Glenview man was arrested at 9:20 p.m. on May 28 and charged with driving with a suspended driver's license following a traffic stop in the 3300 block of Greenwood Road.
David Kvirikadze, 38, of the 500 block of Lockard Lane in Highwood, was arrested at 7:47 p.m. on May 28 and charged with a retail theft in the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue.
A 49-year-old Chicago man was arrested at 12:23 a.m. on May 29 and charged with driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue. He was also ticketed for a lack of proper lighting on his back license plate.
Randall Louis, 71, of the 3200 block of Brandess Drive in Glenview, was arrested at 6:22 p.m. on May 29 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic crash investigation in his block of residence. He was also issued citations for improper lane usage, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and failure to display driver's license.
Muhammad Faraz, 36, of the 3700 block of Salem Walk in Northbrook, was arrested at 11:05 a.m. on May 30 and charged with theft of lost or mislaid property following an investigation in the 1700 block of Milwaukee Avenue.
Peter Ahn, 41, of the 700 block of Golfview Terrace in Buffalo Grove, was arrested at 5:25 p.m. on May 30 and charged with retail theft in the 1300 block of Waukegan Road.
Nicholas Jantzen, 20, of the 1700 block of Northfield Square in Northfield, was arrested at 2:45 p.m. on May 31 and charged with criminal damage to property following a dispute over parking at a lot in the 2300 block of Willow Road.
Katherine Anderson, 33, of the 1400 block of Somerset Avenue in Deerfield, was arrested at 9:02 p.m. on June 1 and charged with retail theft in the 2200 block of Willow Road.
Ravi Joshi, 38, of the 4100 block of Florence Way in Glenview, was arrested at 11:08 p.m. on June 1 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Greenwood Road. He was also issued citations for speeding and disobeying a traffic control device.
Sachin Shah, 37, of the 300 block of Oak Creek Drive in Wheeling, was arrested at 3:17 a.m. and charged with diving under the influence of alcohol and driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.08 or above after a traffic stop in the 2700 block of Pfingsten Road.
Paul Palian, 49, of the 2300 block of Lily Lane in Glenview, was arrested at 8:15 a.m. on June 1 and charged with failure to give information after an accident as the result of an investigation into a May 28 crash that took place in the 2300 block of Lilly Lane.
