BURGLARY
A patron parked in the 1400 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported at 12:20 p.m. on May 22 that someone smashed a car window and stole a wallet inside for a $300 loss.

THEFT
An employee of a business in the 4300 block of Regency Drive reported at 3:05 p.m. on May 22 that someone stole two boxes from outside the business meant to be picked up for a delivery for a loss of $2,300.

RETAIL THEFT
An employee at a store in the 1900 block of Tower Drive reported at 4:12 p.m. on May 22 that someone stole $94 worth of clothes from a rack and walked out.

THEFT
A visitor in the 1900 block of Johns Drive reported at 8:46 p.m. on May 22 that someone stole a cellphone from inside a duffel bag for a loss of $600.

ELECTRONIC HARASSMENT
A resident in the 1500 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported at 5:51 a.m. on May 23 that they had been getting unwanted text messages.

THEFT
An employee in the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported at 1:54 p.m. on May 21 that someone had used fraudulent gift cards to buy $1,000 worth of merchandise.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE
An employee in the 2800 block of West Lake Avenue reported at 9:14 a.m. on May 23 that someone took a golf cart from a storage area and damaged the dashboard and ignition switch for a reported loss of $6,000.

STOLEN CAR
An employee in the 1800 block of Waukegan Road reported at 12:27 p.m. on May 23 that someone never returned a rented a silver 2017 Ford Explorer for a loss of $45,000.

RETAIL THEFT
An employee at a store in the 1900 block of Tower Drive reported at 2:20 p.m. on May 23 that someone walked in, filled up a bag with merchandise it with merchandise and ran out of the store. No description was provided.

HOME BURGLARY
A resident in the 3000 block of Knollwood Lane reported at 5:46 p.m. on May 23 that someone had forced open the rear sliding glass door, ransacked a bedroom and stole jewelry during the daylight hours for a loss of more than $1,000.

THEFT
A shopper in the 1800 block of Pfingsten Road reported at 7:46 p.m. on May 23 that someone reached into their car and stole a handicap placard hanging from the rear view mirror for a loss of $100.

THEFT
A resident in the 1800 block of Dewes Street reported at 10:52 a.m. on May 24 that someone stole a computer worth $1,000 from their home.

THEFT
An employee in the 2000 block of Claire Court reported at 2:32 p.m. on May 24 that a co-worker had send a text message asking them to buy gift cards and text back the numbers. The reported loss from the incident was $400.

CRIMINAL
A shopper in the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported 3:14 p.m. on May 24 that someone had caused $8,000 in damage by scratching the side of their car following a traffic altercation in a parking lot.

BATTERY
An employee in the 1800 block of Tower Drive reported at 4:54 p.m. on May 24 that someone had punched them in the face outside the business.

TRESPASSING
A resident in the 1100 block of Longmeadow Drive reported at 9:01 p.m. on May 24 that someone had reached into their locked car through an open window and tried to open the door. The alarm was activated and there was no reported loss.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY
An employee in the 2700 block of Old Willow Road reported at 5:54 a.m. on May 25 that someone had stolen $2,200 worth of electronics from the business.

THEFT
A customer in the 1500 block of Waukegan Road reported at 10:09 a.m. on May 25 that they had left their wallet on a counter, but someone else picked it up and left the business for a loss of $210.

HOME BURGLARY
A resident in the 900 block of Buccaneer Drive reported at 1:41 p.m. on May 25 that someone stole more than $3,000 worth of electronics and tools from inside their home.

THEFT
A customer in the 1300 block of Patriot Boulevard reported at 6:21 p.m. on May 25 that their $800 necklace had been taken from a shelf.

RETAIL THEFT
An employee in the 1300 block of Patriot Boulevard reported at 8:23 p.m. on May 25 that someone had picked up $39 worth of beer from a shelf and left the store without paying for it.

THEFT
An employee in the 2100 block of Pfingsten Road reported at 3:07 p.m. on May 26 that a customer took $450 worth of computer equipment from a room.

TRESPASSING
An employee in the 1700 block of Greenwood Road reported at 2:46 p.m. on May 27 that someone was on the property without permission.

TRESPASSING
A resident in the 200 block of Montgomery Lane reported at 8:54 p.m. on May 28 that someone was on their property without permission.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT
A resident in the 600 block of Garden Court reported at 10:54 p.m. on May 29 that someone threw eggs at their car and house.

ARRESTS

Tracey Byrdsong, 51, of the 1700 block of Joanna Avenue in Zion, was was arrested at 7:20 p.m. on May 21 in the 2900 block of Patriot Boulevard and charged with forgery and identity theft after he reportedly tried to use a fake credit card at a business in the 2800 block of Patriot Boulevard.

Arturo Villavicencio, 49, of the 5000 block of Ainslie Street in Chicago, was arrested at 2:36 a.m. on May 21 in the 2500 block of East Lake Avenue and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and no valid driver’s license

A 28-year-old Glenview woman was arrested at 5:48 p.m. on May 24 and charged with driving with no valid driver's license following a traffic crash investigation in the 1100 block of Shermer Road. She was also ticketed for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Konrad Komeza, 51, of the 1800 block of Willowview Terrace in Northfield, was arrested at 12:12 a.m. on May 25 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Shermer Road. He was also ticketed for improper lane usage.

Roman Hasiuk, 55, of the 1400 block of Park Drive in Mount Prospect, was arrested at 1:14 p.m. on May 26 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration of .08 or more following an investigation in the 3500 block of Milwaukee Avenue.

Robert Martier, 47, of the 1400 block of North Columbine Drive in Mount Prospect, was arrested at 5:30 p.m. on May 26 and charged with battery, criminal damage, driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration of .08 or more following a battery investigation in the 2300 block of East Lake Avenue.

A 28-year-old Chicago man was arrested at 11:15 p.m. on May 26 and charged with driving with a suspended license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle following a traffic stop in the 100 block of Waukegan Road.

Anne Grimes, 47, of the 1200 block of Waukegan Road in Glenview, was arrested at 5:07 a.m. on May 27 and charged with violation of a no-contact order of protection in the 1200 block of Waukegan Road.

Tevin Campbell, 23, of the 2000 block of Darrow Avenue in Evanston, was arrested at 11:49 p.m. on May 27 and charged with resisting arrest and driving with a suspended driver’s license after a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Shermer Road. He was also issued citations for operating an uninsured motor vehicle, no valid registration, improper lighting for having one active headlamp.
