$54K Car Stolen At Business Parking Lot; Golf Club Theft: Blotter
A car was stolen from the parking lot of a business; items went missing at a private golf club: Glenview Police Blotter.

Ashley Luksik, 36, of the 3500 block of Lake Avenue, Wilmette, is accused of battery, and was arrested at 5:30 p.m. July 28 following an investigation into an incident that occurred on July 4 in the 1100 block of Waukegan Road. She was released after posting bond and assigned a court date of Sept. 1 in Skokie.

- Arturo Delgado Gutierrez, 42, of the 600 block of Archer Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, following too closely, and was arrested at 8:19 p.m. July 29 following a traffic stop in the 8500 block of Golf Road. He was released on a D-bond and assigned a court date of Sept. 7 in Skokie.
- Jesus Rodriguez, 19, of the 10000 block of Dearlove Road, Glenview, is accused of driving under the influence of drugs, driving under the combined influence of drugs and alcohol, illegal transportation of cannabis by the drive, speeding, improper turning, and was arrested at 10:36 p.m. July 20 following a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Waukegan Road. He was released on a bond and assigned a court date of Sept. 7 in Skokie.
- Richard L. Acton, 61, of the 2700 block of Park Lane, Glenview, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of a controlled substance, driving without lights when required, and was arrested at 12:26 a.m. July 31 in the 2500 block of Park Lane. He was processed and taken to a bond hearing on July 31.
FORGERY
Litonya V. Williams, 55, of the 900 block of 24th Avenue, Bellwood, is accused of forgery, identity theft, and was arrested at 5:33 p.m. July 29 after an investigation into an incident on March 4. Williams was processed and taken to a bond hearing on July 31.
WARRANT
Alvin Butler, 25, homeless, is accused of having a warrant from the Illinois Department of Corrections, and was arrested at 5:47 p.m. Aug. 1 following an investigation in the 2500 block of Waterview Drive. He was held for a bond hearing at the Skokie Courthouse.

INCIDENTS
RETAIL THEFT
An employee of a business in the 1600 block of Waukegan Road reported at 3:29 pm. July 27 four people entered the store, removed merchandise from the displays and left the store without paying for the merchandise. Total reported loss is $7,219.90.
SUSPENDED DRIVER'S LICENSE
A Glenview resident was cited at 11:20 p.m. July 27 for driving while license suspended, speeding, following a traffic stop at East Lake Avenue and Sunset Ridge Road. They were released on bond and assigned a court date of Sept. 7 in Skokie.
THEFT
- A Glenview Road resident called police at 4:53 p.m. July 28 to report a check they wrote and mailed was intercepted and cashed by an unknown person. Reported loss is $4,671.15.
- A resident in the 800 block of Thornwood Lane reported at 1:12 p.m. July 29 an employee stole items from the home.
- An employee of a business in the 1900 block of Waukegan Road called police at 10:54 a.m. Aug. 1 to report someone entered the business and stole items from interior rooms.
- An employee of a private golf club in the 1300 block of Glenview Road reported at 5:43 a.m. Aug. 3 the theft of three greens flags and flag sticks. Reported loss is $600.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS
- An employee of a business in the 1800 block of Tower Drive called police at 11:20 a.m. July 29 to report a fired employee came back to the business to collect their final paycheck and caused a disturbance.
- An employee of a business in the 1400 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported at 11:51 a.m. July 31 a former employee refused to leave the property.
BURGLARY FROM VEHICLE
- A Skokie resident called police at 11:42 a.m. Aug. 2 to report that when they visited Community Bark West, 1001 Zenith Drive, they found the front passenger window of their parked vehicle broken and contents stolen from inside the car. Reported loss is $500.
- A Niles resident reported at 11:42 a.m. Aug. 2 that while they visited Community Bark West, 1001 Zenith Drive, they found the rear passenger window of their parked vehicle broken and contents stolen from inside the car. Reported loss is $170.
- A Glenview resident called police at 11:42 a.m Aug. 2 to report while they visited Community Bark West, 1001 Zenith Drive, the discovered the front passenger window of their parked vehicle was broken and contents were stolen from inside the car. Reported loss is $2,700.
VEHICLE THEFT
An employee of a business in the 300 block of Waukegan Road reported at 5:05 p.m. Aug. 2 a vehicle was stolen from the parking lot. Reported loss is $54,269.
