GLENVIEW, IL — A prominent Chicago attorney is being accused of nine felony counts of criminal sexual assault and abuse. David Pasulka, 61, of the 600 block of Chatham Road, Glenview, was charged with one felony count of aggravated criminal sexual assault, seven felony counts of criminal sexual assault/force, one felony of criminal sexual abuse/force, and was arrested at 10:50 a.m. Tuesday in the 0-100 block of W. Madison St., Chicago.

Pasulka is accused of sexually assaulting a 31-year-old woman on Feb. 1, 2017, and a 48-year-old woman on May 9, 2017, according to a news release from the Chicago Police Department. He was taken into custody without incident.

According to a complaint filed by the Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission last July, Pasulka is accused of offering to help a client fighting for custody of her children if she had sex with him, and sexually abusing three former employees.

Pasulka, who has been licensed to practice law in Illinois since 1984, established Pasulka & Associates, PC, in 1994. The Chicago-based firm specializes in divorce and family law.

According to that complaint, Pasulka told the woman during a March 2017 meeting in his private office at his Chicago firm that he would recommend she receive sole custody of her children if she was a "smart girl" and was able to "do a little extra something." He told the woman that if she really wanted her children, he could "do that" for her if she would have sex with him, the complaint continues.

He's accused of inappropriately touching the woman in multiple places, according to the complaint.

Upset and concerned about custody of her children, the woman got up from Pasulka's couch and told him she would consider his offer, but needed time and left the office, according to the court document.

Pasulka was also accused in that complaint of sexually abusing three female employees between 2012 and 2018. During multiple incidents reported to have occurred in his Chicago office and at least one at a hotel during a work trip, the complaint details accusations of unwanted kissing, inappropriate touching and sexual assault.
