Accident On Poppy Lane And Lake In Glenview

GLENVIEW, IL — Glenview emergency services were at the scene of an apparent two-car accident at Poppy and West Lake Tuesday afternoon, according to images sent to Patch by an alert reader.

When she came across the scene one car was flipped over and was emitting a lot of smoke, Glenview resident Azma Yunus said. She called 9-1-1 right away, and they informed her they had already been notified, she said.

Glenview emergency services declined to say how many people were involved or the nature of any injuries.

Representatives of Glenview police and fire departments were not available to provide any information or comment on or about the accident.
