Children with ADHD face daunting challenges when it comes to managing their behavior in the classroom. Parents of children with ADHD should work directly with their child's teachers to help create supports needed to improve academic outcomes. Working cooperatively with your child's teachers to develop a plan of action will not only be crucial for helping your child succeed academically, but can also be used to teach your child appropriate classroom behavior without them feeling called out or embarrassed in front of their peers.
