'Alarming Hand Gesture' By Landscaper Startles Resident: Blotter
A resident had told the landscaper not to blow leaves onto their property prior to the incident: Glenview Police Blotter.

Ravisel Mojica, 30, of the 3800 block of S Kedzie Avenue, Chicago, is accused of driving with no valid driver's license, speeding, and was arrested at 7:21 p.m. Aug. 6, in the 2700 block of Sanders Road. He was released on bond and assigned a court date of Sept. 22.

- Christopher Mizener, 31, of the 6300 block of W Bryn Mawr Avenue, Chicago, is accused of driving under the influence of drugs, failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash, no seat belt, and was arrested at 11:04 a.m. Aug. 2, following a traffic investigation at Willow and Shermer roads. He was released on bond and was assigned a court date of Sept. 7.
- Tiffany On Chong, 22, of the 8000 block of N Oketo Avenue, Niles, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, a blood alcohol concentration level of over .08, improper lane usage, and was arrested at 2:50 a.m. Aug. 3, in the 1500 block of Milwaukee Avenue. She was released on bond and assigned a court date of Aug. 18.

INCIDENTS
MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT
A resident of Mount Prospect was cited for driving while license suspended, no insurance, after being involved in a motor vehicle accident at 7:08 a.m. Aug. 5, in the 1400 block of Waukegan Road. It was later determined the vehicle they were driving was stolen from the 200 block of Greenwood Road.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO STATE SUPPORTED PROPERTY
A person reported at 5:48 a.m. Aug. 6 a street sign lying on the basketball court at Cole Park, 1031 Kenilworth Lane. Total reported loss is $60.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
A resident in the 2300 block of Sussex Lane called police at 8:48 a.m. Aug. 6, to report a landscaper made an alarming hand gesture after being told to not blow leaves onto the property.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
A Glenview resident reported at 5:49 p.m. Aug. 6 finding her car “keyed” after being accused of parking too close to a car and denting the door while in the parking lot of a business in the 9800 block of Milwaukee Avenue. Reported loss is $500.
RETAIL THEFT
An employee of a business in the 2500 block of Waukegan Road called police at 7:53 p.m. Aug. 8, to report two patrons left the store with a shopping cart full of merchandise without paying. Reported loss is unknown until video can be reviewed and an inventory performed.
THEFT
- A resident in the 4500 block of Concord Lane reported at 9:55 a.m. Aug. 9, cash and jewelry missing from their belongings after they moved into the residence by a moving company.
- An employee of a business in the 1500 block of Milwaukee Avenue called police at 11:25 a.m. Aug. 9, to report cash missing from the office.
