Terrence King, 49, no residential address, had a warrant out of Lake County for child support payments, and was arrested at 9:13 p.m. Oct. 28, in the 1500 block of Greenwood Road. He was turned over to the Lake County Sheriff's Office.

  • Sergelen Mendsaikhan, 21, of the 1400 block of Catalpa Lane, Mount Prospect, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, speeding, and was arrested at 3:07 a.m. Oct. 30, in the 4100 block of Cove Lane. He was released and assigned a court date.

INCIDENTS

BURGLARY FROM MOTOR VEHICLE

  • Two residents in the 2500 block of Waterview Drive reported that during the overnight hours of Oct. 24, someone stole the catalytic converter from under their vehicles while they were parked in the residential parking lot.
  • A resident in the 2400 block of Dewes Street called police to report that during the overnight hours of Oct. 27, someone entered two of their vehicles while they were parked in the street. The offenders removed tools and miscellaneous parts from both vehicles.

THEFT

  • A resident in the 1100 block of Castilian Court called police on Oct. 26 to report someone stole all four wheels from their vehicle overnight.
  • A Carmel, Indiana resident reported on Oct. 29 that their vehicle’s license plate was stolen from the rear of the car while it was parked overnight in a parking lot in the 1800 block of Milwaukee Avenue.

TRESPASSING

  • An employee of a business in the 1500 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported at 5:19 a.m. Oct. 27, an intoxicated patron was causing a disturbance. Officers gave the patron trespass notice to the business at the request of employees.
  • A business patron in the 1400 block of Milwaukee Avenue was issued a trespass warning at 6:34 p.m. Oct. 27, following a series of arguments.

FLEEING AND ELUDING POLICE

Police saw a white motorcycle traveling on East Avenue, approaching Greenwood Road, at 2:41 p.m. Oct. 27. The motorcycle rode on the center line, in between vehicles in traffic, with an obstructed license plate. Upon initiation of a traffic stop, the motorcycle fled at a high rate of speed and was last seen westbound on West Lake Avenue from Pfingsten Road.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

  • A resident in the 400 block of Elm Street reported on Oct. 28 that they saw four juveniles damaging Halloween decorations on live surveillance video at 11:47 p.m. the previous night.
  • A resident in the 1700 block of Elmdale Avenue called police on Oct. 28 to report someone had damaged Halloween decorations sometime during the overnight hours.
  • A Mount Prospect resident reported at 8:11 p.m. Oct. 27, someone had poured grey paint on the passenger side of their vehicle while it was parked in the parking garage in the 2000 block of Tower Drive.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

A resident in the 2500 block of Fontana Drive called police at 10:11 p.m. Oct. 28, to report two unknown rang the doorbell and left. The complainant also reported a similar incident happened to their neighbor 30 minutes prior.

STOLEN VEHICLE

A resident in the 1200 block of Longvalley Road called police at 1:26 a.m. Oct. 29, to report someone stole their vehicle from their driveway. The owner was unsure if the spare tire was left in the car or not.
