Complaining Customer Given Trespass Warning: Glenview Police Blotter
Staff said the customer was disruptive to staff on several occasions and would spend hours at a time in the store complaining.

Evgeny Gekhter, 41, no residential address, is accused of criminal trespass to property, and was arrested at 7:22 a.m. Oct. 20, in the 100 block of Waukegan Road. He was released at the scene and given a court date.

Ammar Hanoon, 24, of the 6100 block of Damen Avenue, Chicago, is accused of five counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of ammunition with no valid FOID, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and was arrested at 6:10 a.m. Oct. 21, after the investigation of an incident reported in the 600 block of Echo Lane. He was taken to court on Oct. 22 for a conditions hearing.

INCIDENTS
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
- An employee of a property management company reported at 12:27 p.m. Oct. 18, several broken windows and a broken door on a vacant unit in the 2500 block of Waterview Drive.
- A resident in the 1200 block of Central Road called police at 7:21 a.m Oct. 22, to report someone damaged their Halloween decorations sometime during the overnight hours on several nights.
BURGLARY FROM MOTOR VEHICLE
A resident in the 2000 block of Ammer Ridge Court reported that between 6:30 p.m. Oct. 18, and 8 a.m. Oct. 19, someone stole the catalytic converter from their vehicle while it was parked in the residential parking lot.
IDENTITY THEFT
A Blackthorn Drive resident reported on Oct. 20 that on Aug. 31, someone used their personal information to open a Verizon Wireless account and charge an overdue balance.
FORGERY
A Washington Street resident called police on Oct. 20 to report they had mailed a check at the Glenview Post Office on Aug. 6. Shortly thereafter, they received a notification that the check was cashed to a different name with a different amount.
SUSPENDED DRIVER'S LICENSE
A Chicago resident was cited for driving while license suspended at 6:08 p.m. Oct. 20, in the 1800 block of Milwaukee Avenue. They were released and given a court date.
NO VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE
A Des Plaines resident was cited at 7:33 p.m. Oct. 20, for no valid driver’s license, headlight violation for having one headlamp in the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue. They were released and assigned a court date.
TRESPASS WARNING
An employee of a business in the 0-100 block of Waukegan Road reported at 2:26 p.m. Oct. 21, a customer was disruptive to staff on several occasions and would spend hours at a time in the
store complaining. The customer was given a trespass warning not to return to the store and left
without incident.
BATTERY
- A Niles resident reported at 6:43 p.m. Oct. 21, having been being in an argument with an employee of a business in the 2000 block of Tower Drive. During the argument, the employee reportedly hit a cellular phone out of the complainant's hand.
- An Evanston resident called police at 1:38 p.m. Oct. 22, to report being pushed on the elbow by an employee of a business in the 1500 block of Milwaukee Avenue while they were in the process of leaving.
RETAIL THEFT
An employee of a business in the 2500 block of Waukegan Road reported at 8:20 p.m. Oct. 22, a male grabbed several bottles of liquor and walked past the last point of purchase. Employees stopped him before he exited the store, and he gave the bottles back to employees. Officers gave the male a trespass notice to the business at the request of employees.
