Officers also made arrests for DUI, domestic battery, and excessive speeding, with incidents concentrated around late September in familiar streets like Lake Avenue, Rugen Road, and Westview Drive.
   

• $8.15 million site purchase advances flood control project (stormwater.com) — A major flood-control project in South Glenview is moving forward after officials bought nearly 16 acres near Dee Road and Central Avenue for a new stormwater detention basin. • "Hollywood Ripper" Michael Gargiulo appears in court for 1993 murder of Tricia Pacaccio in Glenview, Illinois (cbsnews.com) — Residents following the long-unsolved 1993 killing of Glenview teen Tricia Pacaccio now have an update, as accused serial killer Michael Gargiulo appeared via Zoom for a status hearing in Skokie. Prosecutors and defense attorneys are still reviewing evidence, decades after Pacaccio was found stabbed on her family's Glenview doorstep, and no trial date has been set yet.
