The Arts of Life Celebrates Art and Cinema
The Arts of Life celebrates art and cinema with a fresh exhibition and dramatic performance at their 'Cuz I'm Fancy opening reception on Fri

The Arts of Life celebrates creative expression in a variety of forms with an evening of fine art, live dramatic performance and documentary film at the opening of their ‘Cuz I’m Fancy exhibit on Friday, June 3rd.
The event will showcase fresh artwork from each member of The Arts of Life North Shore collective. Attendees will also be treated to a live dramatic performance from the studio’s artists. The evening will culminate with a 7pm screening of the documentary film Life and Where I’m At: The Life and Work of Veronica Cuculich. This film illuminates the experiences of the organization’s founding artist as an art maker and member of the disability community.
The Arts of Life North Shore studio manager Hilary Marshall had this to say about the innovative event: “Cuz I’m Fancy is a fun and fresh exhibition of new work sitting at the culturally relevant intersection between elegance and tack, refinement and kitsch. It pushes the audience to consider the fluidity of fanciness and the many ways we use and interpret the term.”
