Lucyna Kolodziej, 36, of the 2900 block of Harlem Avenue, Elmwood Park, had a warrant out of DuPage County for failure to appear in court, and was arrested at 6:35 a.m. Sept. 23, in the 4000 block of Crestwood Drive. She was released on bond and advised to contact the DuPage Courthouse for her next court date.

Khamir Limbachiya, 42, of the 8900 block of Steven Drive, Des Plaines, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and was arrested at 8:30 p.m. Sept. 25, following the investigation of a traffic crash in the 2100 block of Shermer Road. He was released on bond with a court date set for Nov. 7.

DOMESTIC BATTERY

  • Beatriz Mora, 29, of the 1600 block of Waukegan Road, Glenview, is accused of domestic battery, and was arrested at 6:38 p.m. Sept. 25. She was held for a bond hearing.
  • Michael Adelman, 69, of the 1800 block of Henley Street, Glenview, is accused of domestic battery, possession of firearms with a revoked FOID card, and was arrested at 11:20 a.m. Sept. 14, following the investigation of an incident. Through the MITT process, he was transferred to the custody of the Cook County Sheriff.

BOND FORFEITURE

Andrei Lupu, 23, of the 9000 block of Federal Court, Des Plaines, had a warrant from the Glenview Police Department for bond forfeiture, and was arrested at 12:04 p.m. Sept. 19, in the 1600 block of N. Mannheim Road, Stone Park, IL. He was released on bond with a court date set for Oct. 21.

THEFT

Mariah Christman, 24, of the 800 block of N. Homan Avenue, Chicago, is accused of theft, and was arrested at 10 a.m. Sept. 19, at the Cook County Jail following the investigation of an incident reported on Aug. 31 in the 1400 block of Waukegan Road. She was released on bond and turned back over to the custody of the Cook County Sheriff's Office. Christman was assigned a court date of Oct. 21.

INCIDENTS

BURGLARY FROM MOTOR VEHICLE

A resident reported that during the overnight hours of Sept. 20, someone stole the catalytic converter from underneath their 2020 vehicle while it was parked at a business in the 1800 block of Milwaukee Avenue.

THEFT

  • A resident in the 1700 block of Culver Lane called police at 6:39 p.m. Sept. 20, to report books were stolen from a book receptacle.
  • An employee of a business in the 1700 block of Chestnut Avenue reported at 11 p.m. Sept. 23, several customers left the business without paying their bill.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

A resident in the 400 block of 4th Street reported that between Sept. 20 and Sept. 21, someone slashed tires, on two separate vehicles parked in front of their residence.

NO VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE

A Wheeling resident was cited at 10:14 a.m. Sept. 21, for no valid driver's license, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, following the investigation into a traffic crash on Willow Road and Patriot Boulevard. They were released on bond and assigned a court date of Nov. 7.

RETAIL THEFT

  • An employee of a business in the 1300 block of Patriot Boulevard reported at 2:34 p.m. Sept. 21, two males entered the store, filled a shopping cart with liquor bottles and left the store without paying.
  • An employee of a business in the 3300 block of Glenview Road called police to report that between 6:15 p.m. and 6:19 p.m. Sept. 24, someone stole various women’s makeup items from the store and fled the area on foot.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

  • Police responded to an alarm at 7:54 p.m. Sept. 21, at a home in the 3900 block of Kiess Drive and found the residence had been burglarized.
  • A resident in the 3800 block of Kiess Drive reported at 9:09 p.m. Sept. 21, their home was burglarized.
  • A resident in the 4600 block of Jenna Road reported that between 6:30 a.m. and 7:15 p.m. Sept. 23, their home was burglarized.

BURGLARY

Police responded at 3:22 a.m. Sept. 22, to a business in the 400 block of Glenview Road on a business alarm. On arrival, the officers found the front glass door to the business shattered. An ATM was missing from the interior of the business.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS

A Wadsworth resident was issued a village ordinance at 7:54 p.m. Sept. 23, for criminal trespass after returning to a business in the 1600 block of Milwaukee Avenue.

ORDINANCE VIOLATION

A Chicago resident was cited at 2:25 p.m. Sept. 24, under village ordinance for selling tobacco to a minor at a business in the 9700 block of Milwaukee Avenue following an investigation of an incident at the business.

SOLICITING WITHOUT A PERMIT

A Detroit resident was issued a village ordinance citation at 7:28 p.m. Sept. 24, for soliciting without a permit after being advised earlier in the day that a permit was required to solicit.

SUSPENDED/REVOKED DRIVER'S LICENSE

A resident was cited at 4:08 p.m. Sept. 26, for driving on a revoked driver's license, expired vehicle registration, speeding, following a traffic stop in the 2400 block of Pfingsten Road. They were released on bond with a court date set for Oct. 11.
