DRIVING WITH A SUSPENDED/REVOKED LICENSE

Antonjuan Larniell Smith, 26, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is accused of driving with a suspended license, no insurance, and was arrested at 12:20 a.m. June 5, after an investigation in the 1400 block of Milwaukee Avenue. Smith was processed and released on a $2,500 I-Bond. A court date is schedule for July 1.

  • Gandelger Batjargal, 42, of Charlotte, North Carolina, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, no insurance, minimum speed regulation, and was arrested at 2:14 a.m. June 5, after a traffic stop in the 1700 block of East Lake Avenue. Batjargal was processed and released after posting his driver’s license and $1,000.00 D-bond. His next court date is June 28.
  • Zbigniew Kochanowski, 42, of Hammond, Indiana, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 4:15 p.m. May 30, following an investigation of an incident in the 500 block of Chatham Road. He was released on an I-Bond with a court date of June 27 scheduled.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT

  • A resident in the 1400 block of Blackthorn Drive reported at 7:04 a.m. May 31, someone stole their unlocked vehicle from their driveway.
  • A person called police to report that between 1:48 a.m. and 2:48 a.m. May 31, someone stole their vehicle from the 1500 block of Basswood Circle.
  • A Glenview resident reported that during the overnight hours of May 31, someone stole their vehicle from the 1500 block of Fielding Drive.
  • A Northbrook resident called police to report that between May 23 and June 3, someone stole their vehicle from the parking lot in the 3400 block of Milwaukee Avenue.

BURGLARY TO MOTOR VEHICLE

  • A Glenview resident reported at 12:37 p.m. May 31, someone entered their vehicle while it was parked in the 2100 block of Thistle Road.
  • A Glenview resident called police to report that between May 30 and May 31, someone entered their unlocked vehicle while it was parked in the 1700 block of Henley Street.
  • A Glenview resident reported that during the overnight hours of May 31, someone entered their unlocked vehicle while it was parked in the 1600 block of Independence Avenue.
  • A Glenview resident called police to report that between May 30 and May 31, someone entered their vehicle while it was parked in the 1700 block of Henley Street.

NO VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE

An Evanston resident was cited at 11:42 p.m. May 31, for driving/never issued a license, no headlights when required, following a traffic stop in the 3500 block of Milwaukee Avenue. They were released on an I-Bond with a court date of July 1 scheduled.

BURGLARY

A business owner in the 1400 block of Waukegan Road reported that between May 28 and June 1, someone cut a hole in the ceiling but did not make entry into the building.

IDENTITY THEFT

  • A business owner in the 100 block of Park Drive called police at 1:03 p.m. June 1, to report someone hacked into their business e-mail account and sent fraudulent invoices to customers requesting payment to Linda Harville via Zelle.
  • A Glenview resident reported at 3:34 p.m. June 1, someone from Calverton, New York, used their identifying information to charge $1275.05 to Convergent.

FRAUD

A Glenview resident reported at 8:33 p.m. June 1, someone used their credit card to make three purchases at a Quik Trip gas station in Rochester, Minnesota. The total loss was $272.12.

DRUG OFFENSE

A Glenview resident was cited at 9:32 p.m June 1, for unlawful transportation of cannabis by a driver, improper lighting (one headlight), following a traffic stop in the 2500 block of East Lake Avenue. They were released on an I-Bond with a court date of July 13 scheduled.

NO VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE

  • An Evanston resident was cited at 10:18 p.m. June 1, for no valid driver's license, expired registration, following a traffic stop in the 3000 block of Willow Road. They were released on an I-Bond with a court date of July 13 scheduled.
  • A Downers Grove resident was cited at 10:02 a.m. June 2, for no valid driver's license, speeding, following a traffic stop in the 3700 block of Willow Road. They were released on an I-bond with a court date set for July 18.
  • A Chicago resident was cited at 11:07 p.m. June 6, for no valid driver's license, improper lighting (one headlamp), following a traffic stop in the 3700 block of East Lake Avenue. They were released on an I-Bond with a court date of June 29 scheduled.

THEFT

A Glenview resident reported at 5:28 p.m. June 3, someone tole two signs with the name “Golfview” and the street names of the subdivision on them.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO VEHICLE

A Skokie resident called police to report that during the overnight hours of June 4, someone used an unknown object to smash out the rear window on their vehicle while it was parked in the 1400 block of Milwaukee Avenue.

FORGERY

An employee from a business in the 1700 block of Grove Street reported that between 8 a.m. and noon May 29, someone presented a fraudulent $50 bill and asked for smaller bills in exchange.

ORDINANCE VIOLATION

A Glenview resident in the 900 block of Long Road was cited at 6:37 p.m. June 5, for improper waste removal after they refused to remove trash from the front of their property.

SPEEDING

A Northbrook resident was cited at 11:27 p.m. June 5, for speeding 26 mph over the speed limit, following a traffic stop in the 3300 block of East Lake Avenue. They were released on a $2,500 I-Bond with a court date of June 28 scheduled.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY

Police responded at 2:26 a.m. June 7, to an alarm at a business in the 1600 block of Waukegan Road. Officers discovered an unknown person broke a rear door window and rear garage door window. Both the window and garage door were secured from the inside.
