Couple Takes $60K Car For Test Drive, Never Returns: Blotter
The sports car was stolen from a Patriot Boulevard Business: Glenview Police Blotter.

Kenyon M. McDaniel, 26, of the 500 block of W. 69th Street, Chicago, is accused of having an outstanding warrant for criminal trespass to a vehicle for an incident on June 30, and was arrested at 7:05 p.m. Dec. 20 at the Glenview Police Station. He was held for a bond hearing on Dec. 21 after not being able to post a $75,000 bond.

Witold T. Lach, of Glenview, is accused of domestic battery, and was arrested at 1:52 a.m. Dec. 22 in Glenview.
DRIVING WITH SUSPENDED DRIVER'S LICENSE
Joshua D. Rosas, 25, of the 3000 block of N Overhill Avenue, Chicago, is accused of driving with a suspended driver's license, speeding 21-25 milers per hour over the speed limit, and was arrested at 7:10 a.m. Dec. 22 in the 1000 block of Milwaukee Avenue. He posted a $2,500 bond, and was assigned a court date of Feb. 3, 2021 in Skokie.
SPEEDING
Brittany P. Beauchamp, 33, of the 1600 block of Fowler Avenue, Evanston, is accused of speeding 26-34 miles per hour over the speed limit, and was arrested at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 22 in the 3400 block of Milwaukee Avenue. She was released on a $2,500 bond, and assigned a court date of Jan. 14, 2021 in Skokie.
NO VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE
Balafama S. Sofmimieari, 20, of the 4300 block of W Lake Avenue, Glenview, is accused of driving without a valid driver's license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, improper lane usage, and was arrested at 10:46 p.m. Dec. 26 in the 3800 block of Willow Road. Sofmimieari was released after posting a $2,500 bond, and was assigned a court date of Jan. 14, 2021 in Skokie.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT
A customer at Community Bark West, 1001 Zenith Drive, called police at 11:29 Dec. 22 to report she had a verbal argument with an acquaintance.
THEFT
- A customer reported at 2:08 p.m. Dec. 22 that someone stole their wallet while shopping at a business in the 2700 block of Pfingsten Road. The total reported loss is $112.
- A resident in the 2500 block of Waterview Drive called police at 5:24 p.m. Dec. 26 to report a theft of their jacket from a common area of the building on Dec. 19. The total loss is approximately $575.
- A resident in the 300 block of 3rd Street reported at 2:04 p.m. Dec. 28 that someone stole a brown-colored rug from the porch sometime between Dec. 27-28. The value of the property is unknown at this time.
STOLEN VEHICLE
An employee of a business in the 2800 block of Patriot Boulevard called police at 4:41 p.m. Dec. 22 to report a male and female took a 2021 black Dodge Challenger for a test drive and never returned. Multiple attempts to contact the male by telephone were unsuccessful. The total reported loss is $60,005.
BURGLARY FROM MOTOR VEHICLE
A resident in the 1300 block of Longmeadow Drive reported at 6:44 p.m. Dec. 22 someone entered their unlocked vehicle between 4-5 a.m. Dec. 17. Earphones were reported stolen. Total reported loss is $10.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS
An employee of a hotel in the 4500 block of West Lake Avenue called police at 10:01 p.m. Dec. 22 to report two guests were refusing to follow hotel policy of wearing masks in the common areas and were asked to leave. They were given a refund and left the property after being warned not to return.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO STATE SUPPORTED PROPERTY
A Glenview Park District employee reported at 1:23 p.m. Dec. 23 that at sometime in the past week, somoeone cut down an evergreen tree in the 1900 block of Westleigh Drive. The reported loss is $500.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
A homeowner in the 2000 block of Avalon Court called police at 10:13 p.m. Dec. 23 to report that sometime between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m. on Dec. 23 someone scratched the passenger side front and rear door of their vehicle.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
A resident in the 500 block of Huber Lane reported at 12:18 a.m. Dec. 27 a burglary to their residence sometime after 11 a.m. on Dec. 26. Miscellaneous jewelry was discovered missing. Total value is approximately $3,400.
HARASSMENT BY TELEPHONE
A resident in the 700 block of Carriage Hill Drive reported at 1:45 a.m. Dec. 27 receiving unwanted telephone calls from a subject they befriended online.
RETAIL THEFT
An employee of a business in the 2300 block of Capital Drive called police at 3:41 p.m. Dec. 26 to report a male and female stole numerous items. Total reported loss is $352.52.
IDENTITY THEFT
- A Bianco Terrace resident reported at 3:23 p.m. Dec. 28 someone made three unauthorized purchases on their credit card. Total reported loss is $1,308.11.
- There were 57 reported identity thefts between Dec. 22-28 related to the ongoing Illinois Department of Employment Security identity theft fraud.
ARSON
A garbage can was reported on fire at 9:42 p.m. Dec. 28 in the 1900 block of Tower Drive. The Glenview Fire Department extinguished the fire and the plastic liner was melted in the metal frame. Total reported loss is $35.
