Customer Makes Lewd Remarks, Flees Business: Blotter

Tanja Delic, 52, of the 600 block of Fairway Drive, Glenview, is accused of driving under the influence, driving under the influence with a blood alcohol concentration level over .08, and was arrested at 1:46 a.m. Oct. 8, following the investigation of a disabled vehicle in the 1100 block of Milwaukee Avenue. She was released on an I-bond with a court date set for Nov. 8.

INCIDENTS

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

An employee of a business in the 600 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported at 3:11 p.m. Oct. 6, a customer making lewd remarks and fled out of the business.

THEFT

  • An employee of a business in the 4300 block of Regency Drive called police at 1:02 p.m. Oct. 7, to report the catalytic converter was stolen from a company truck as it sat parked, unoccupied, in the parking lot, sometime in the overnight hours on Aug. 20.
  • A resident in the 2300 block of Carrington Way reported on Oct. 8 that between Dec. 15, 2020, and March 31, 2021, someone stole items from their home. Estimated loss is $7,500.

RETAIL THEFT

An employee of a business in the 2900 block of Patriot Boulevard reported on Oct. 7, a person left the store at 5:57 p.m. Sept. 3, without paying for two computer items. Reported loss is $3,999.98.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

A resident in the 0-100 block of Park Drive reported that during the overnight hours of Oct. 8, someone shattered the front passenger window on their vehicle. Reported loss is $150.

MINOR IN POSSESSION OF ALCOHOL

A Northbrook resident was issued a speeding ticket, village ordinance citation for a minor in possession of alcohol, at 11:47 p.m. Oct. 8, after a traffic stop in the 2400 block of Pfingsten Road.

STOLEN VEHICLE

A resident in the 800 block of Fairhope Avenue reported that during the overnight hours of Oct. 11 someone stole their vehicle from the driveway.

BURGLARY

A resident in the 2500 block of Glenview Road called police at 10:36 a.m. Oct. 11, to report sometime between Oct. 6 and Oct. 9, several kitchen appliances were stolen from inside their detached garage. Reported loss is $5,870.
