Customer Throws Case Of Beer At Manager: Glenview Police Blotter
The victim did not want to sign complaints, but wanted the Glenview resident banned from the store, according to police.

Bobby Montgomery, 46, of the 400 block of N. St. Louis Avenue, Chicago, had an outstanding warrant out of Cook County, and was arrested at 9:34 p.m. Aug. 7, following the investigation of a suspicious person at a business in the 1000 block of Harlem Avenue. He was held for a bond hearing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
Stephanie Millan, 24, of the 9100 block of Ewing Road, Evanston, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, illegal transportation of alcohol, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and was arrested at 12:25 a.m. Aug. 8, following an investigation of a traffic crash in the 300 block of Waukegan Road. She was released on $1,000 I-Bond and was assigned a court date of Sept. 21.

IDENTITY THEFT
- A Glenview resident called police at 9:39 a.m. Aug. 2, to report someone used their identifying information to open a Capital One card in Jacksonville, Florida.
- A Glenview resident reported at 11:48 a.m. Aug. 4, someone used their identifying information to open an AT&T account for Direct TV in Texas.
- A Glenview resident called police at 3:27 p.m. Aug. 5, to report someone attempted to open several new accounts with Discover Card, Bank of America, Chase, and Huntington Bank using their personal information.
- A Glenview resident reported at 3:02 p.m. Aug. 6, someone used their personal information to open a credit card account from Northbrook Bank and Trust and accumulated an unknown number of charges.
- A resident in the 2000 block of Fir Street called police at 2:26 p.m. Aug. 7, to report someone used their identifying information to open a Wintrust Bank account.
- A resident from the 2600 block of Independence Avenue reported at 8:52 a.m. Aug. 8, someone used their identifying information to open a Verizon account.
BURGLARY FROM MOTOR VEHICLE
- A person reported that between July 22 and Aug. 2, someone stole the catalytic converter from their vehicle while it was parked in a lot in the 4200 block of Commercial Way.
- A Kalamazoo, Michigan resident called police to report that during the overnight hours of Aug. 2, someone stole the catalytic converter from their vehicle while it was parked in the 1400 block of Milwaukee Avenue.
- A resident of the 1500 block of Executive Lane reported at 11:13 a.m. Aug. 3, two people stole the catalytic converter from their vehicle while it was parked on the street.
- A resident of the 1600 block of Greenwood Road called police at 11:45 a.m. Aug. 3, to report a man dressed in all black clothing was underneath their vehicle while it was parked in the parking lot of their residence. They were unable to determine if anything was taken.
- A person reported at 7:50 p.m. Aug. 3, someone stole the catalytic converter off their vehicle while it was parked at a business in the 1300 block of Patriot Boulevard. The suspect left in a black sedan, unknown registration.
- A Glenview resident called police to report that between 10:15 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. Aug. 3, someone stole the catalytic converter from their vehicle while it was parked at a business in the 2100 block of Patriot Boulevard.
- A person reported that between Aug. 4 and Aug. 5, someone stole the catalytic converter from their vehicle while it was parked in the 1900 block of Pickwick Avenue.
- A business owner in the 3300 block of West Lake Avenue reported that between Aug. 4-5, someone stole the catalytic converter from their vehicle while parked in the business lot.
- A Wheeling resident called police to report that between Aug. 4-5, someone stole the catalytic converter from their vehicle while parked in the 2900 block of West Lake Avenue.
- A resident in the 1500 block of Basswood Circle reported that between 1:47 p.m. and 2:05 p.m. Aug. 5, someone stole two credit cards and currency from their unlocked vehicle while it was parked on the street.
- A Washington Street resident called police to report that between Aug. 6-7, someone stole the catalytic converter from their vehicle while it was parked on the street in front of their residence.
THEFT
A Glenview resident reported at 8:11 p.m. Aug. 4, someone stole $100 in money and their COVID vaccination card from their bathroom cabinet.
BATTERY
An assistant manager of a business in the 2300 block of Capital Drive called police at 9:39 p.m. Aug. 3, to report a resident from the 1600 block of Robin Lane threw a case of beer on them. The victim did not want to sign complaints, but wanted the resident banned from the store. Officers issued the resident a trespass warning.
SUSPENDED DRIVER'S LICENSE
A Northbrook resident was cited at 7:47 a.m. Aug. 4, for driving while license revoked, speeding, following a traffic stop in the 2200 block of Dewes Street. They were released on a $2,500 I-Bond with a court date of Aug. 31 assigned.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
- A resident in the 2200 block of Swainwood Drive called police to report that between Aug. 4 and Aug. 5, someone shattered the rear window on their vehicle while it was parked on the street.
- A resident in the 1000 block of Elm Street reported that between Aug. 4-5, someone shattered the rear window of their vehicle while parked outside their residence.
- An employee of the Glenview Park District called police at 5:39 a.m. Aug. 6, to report someone entered the Glenview Park Golf Club at 800 Shermer Road and drove a golf cart through the golf course, damaging the greens.
- A keyholder for a building in the 1900 block of East Lake Avenue reported at 12:50 p.m. Aug. 8, someone damaged six glass windows on the building.
- A resident in the 2700 block of Aviator Lane called police at 9:16 p.m. Aug. 8, to report someone threw eggs at their vehicle. The eggs caused a crack in the windshield and dent on the hood.
FORGERY
A Glenview resident called police at 4:42 p.m. Aug. 5, to report someone forged a check they originally mailed to Wayfair in the amount of $102.99. The check was now addressed to an unknown person in the amount of $9,244.94.
THEFT OF LABOR/SERVICES
A Cary resident reported at 12:59 a.m. Aug. 6, being hired by a Glenview resident in the 1800 block of Tanglewood Drive to do some painting and plumbing work for $140. The resident refused to pay after the work was completed.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
- A South Branch Road resident reported that between Aug. 5-7, someone broke into their residence and stole an Apple iPad, a Dewalt Impact drill, a PlayStation 4 controller, miscellaneous coins and $80.
- A resident in the 2800 block of Virginia Lane called police at 4:28 p.m. Aug. 8, to report a male knocked on their front door and advised he was from the Cook County Water Department. The suspect forced his way into the victim’s kitchen and took the victim out to the backyard. The victim later discovered three additional unknown male suspects entered the home and stole $500, a stamp collection, and a safe containing an unknown amount of paper money. The suspects left in a Kia Sorrento SUV.
