District 34 Schools Holding Annual Food Drive For Township Pantry
A "Stuff the Bus" collection is planned Wednesday as part of the Character Counts In Glenview effort.

GLENVIEW, IL — A busy week of charitable work kicked off Monday in Glenview Community Consolidated District 34. The district is holding its annual food drive to support the Northfield Food Pantry, with events planned daily.
Those interested in donating items can do so at collection boxes at each D34 school and also can deliver food, or check/cash donations, to the pantry, located at 2550 Waukegan Road.
One of the events planned in conjunction with the Character Counts Food Drive is a "Stuff the Bus" collection on Wednesday night. Meet a bus at one of the stops below to drop off your donation, including new or like-new items for the Glenview Community Winter Wear drive. Here are the bus stops:

District 34 Route No. 1
- 4:30 p.m. — Administration building/Westbrook, 1401 Greenwood Road
- 4:40 p.m. to 5 p.m. — Village Hall/Police Station, 2500 E. Lake Ave.
- 5:10 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. — Lyon School, 1335 Waukegan Road
- 5:40 p.m. — Youth Services, 3080 W. Lake Ave.
- 6 p.m. — Food pantry, 2550 Waukegan Road
District 34 Route No. 2
- 4:30 p.m. — Attea/Park Center, 2500 Chestnut Ave.
- 4:40 p.m. to 5 p.m. — Glenview Fire Station 14, 2250 Patriot Blvd.
- 5:10 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. — Jackman Park/Train station, 1101 Lehigh Ave.
- 5:40 p.m. — Youth Services, 3080 W. Lake Ave.
- 6 p.m. — Food pantry
