Driver Arrested for Fleeing the Scene of a Crash: Police

The following information is from the Glenview Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

LEAVING AN ACCIDENT

Miguel Bandera-Ortiz, 40, of the 10400 block of Michael Todd Terrace, was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of a crash, failure to give aid or information, improper lane use and driving with an expired registration after a July 12 accident in the 700 block of River Road.

Bandera-Ortiz was released on $1,500 bail, and his court date is Aug. 2.

CREDIT CARD FRAUD

Mariah Gray, 26, of the 900 block of 130th Place, Chicago, was arrested and charged and charged with credit card/debit card fraud after an incident in the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue.

RETAIL THEFT

Claire Pak, 18, of the 8900 block of Heathwood Circle, Niles, was arrested and charged with retail theft after a July 14 incident in the 1900 block of Tower Drive.

Pak posted $1,000 bail, and her court date is Aug. 15.
