SKOKIE, IL — A Glenview man was accused of pulling out a pistol while intoxicated and pointing it at an acquaintance at a bar in Niles last week. Police said the man claimed he was "just joking" after returning the gun to its holster, but his companion told police he had felt threatened having the loaded Glock handgun pointed directly at him.

Kenny Lee, 28, of the 2800 block of Greenbriar Drive, Glenview, was arrested shortly after 3 a.m. on Feb. 17 at the Agit Bar and Grill, 9098 W. Golf Road, police said. He was charged with aggravated assault using a firearm and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, for possessing a weapon while threatening violence.

Police said Lee smelled of alcohol while speaking to police. He was also charged with possession of a concealed carry firearm while intoxicated, which is a misdemeanor in its first offense and a felony for subsequent convictions under the Firearm Conceal Carry Act.
