Drunk Swung a Machete on a Sidewalk: Cops

Disruptive customers steal plastic snow plow sticks and other recent Glenview police reports.

Disorderly Conduct

On Nov. 28 at 6:52 a.m., a resident in the 2900 block of Countryside Lane reported an intoxicated person standing on the sidewalk talking to himself while swinging a machete.

Theft

On Nov. 28 at 5:31 p.m., an employee in the 2300 block of Lehigh Avenue reported two customers were being disruptive and after they left they took two plastic snow plow sticks. The reported loss is at $10.

Theft

On Nov. 24 at 8:52 a.m., an employee in the 2500 block of Waukegan Road reported someone used fraudulent identification to obtain gift cards and other merchandise. The reported loss is $140.

Burglary (Attempt)

On Nov. 24 at 9:52 a.m., an employee in the 2500 block of Chestnut Drive reported someone attempted to pry open a door on the building. The reported loss is $100.

Harassment by Telephone

On Nov. 30 at 4:53 p.m, an employee in the 3900 block of Glenview Road reported receiving unwanted telephone calls.

Retail Theft

On Nov. 29 at 1:55 p.m., Carisa Jarrell, 37, Brookfield, Wisc. was charged with Retail Theft in the 1900 block of Tower Drive.

Domestic Battery

On Nov. 29 at, 7:32 p.m., James Felden, 53, 332 Harlem Avenue was charged with Domestic Battery in the 300 block of Harlem Avenue.

Identity Theft

On Nov. 30 at 8:49 p.m., a resident in the 1200 block of Highland Avenue reported someone used a credit card number to make a fraudulent online purchase. The reported loss is $127.19.
