Employee Threatens To Strike Co-Worker With Glass Mug: Glenview Police Blotter
The incident occurred at a business in the 600 block of Waukegan Road, according to police.

Chimaya Barnett, 42, of the 4800 block of Greenleaf Street, Skokie, had two counts of issuance of warrant, new charges of speeding 11 to 14 mph over the limit, an expired driver's license, and was arrested at 7:55 p.m. April 3, in the 2000 block of Golf Road. She was taken to the Cook County Correctional Facility for a conditions hearing.
NO VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE

Jayden George, 19, of the 4800 block of N. Winthrop Avenue, Chicago, is accused of having no valid driver's license, no insurance, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, disregarding a traffic light, and was arrested at 11:37 a.m. April 6, in the 2100 block of Pfingsten Road, following an accident investigation. He was released and assigned a court date of May 6.
RECKLESS CONDUCT
Jesus Vazquez Tellez, 45, of the 1700 block of Greenwood Road, Glenview, is accused of reckless conduct, endangering the life of a child, and was arrested at 4:15 p.m. April 1, at his home. Tellez was held in custody pending a detention hearing.
INCIDENTS
THEFT
- An employee in the 3200 block of Maple Leaf Drive reported at 9:25 a.m. March 31, a saw had been taken from the top of a trailer parked on the street. Total loss is $200.
- A resident of the 1700 block of Glenview Road reported at 12:32 p.m. April 3, someone had attempted to steal a FedEx package from them. The FedEx driver told the complainant a
person identified as "Charlie" tried to claim the package when the truck arrived. - A Park Ridge resident reported at 7:06 p.m. April 6, that their wallet had been taken from a
locker in the 3800 block of Willow Road. They received an alert for a $493 charge made with their credit card at a business in the 2200 block of Willow Road.
TRESPASS WARNING
Police reported to the 0 block of S. Branch Road at 8:09 p.m. April 1, regarding a resident who had reported their neighbor was selling drugs outside. The neighbor went to the caller's residence, banging on the door. The neighbor was given a trespass warning not to go on the property.
ASSAULT
An employee for a business in the 600 block of Waukegan Road reported at 6:15 p.m. April 2, a co-worker was upset with them while they were working. They picked up a glass mug and threatened to strike the complainant but did not.
BATTERY
A Morton Grove resident reported at 10:40 a.m. April 3, being battered by an employee for a
business in the 2100 block of Pfingsten Road for a test.
RETAIL THEFT
Employees for a business in the 2500 block of Waukegan Road called police on April 4 to report two days prior, a male had stolen 16 bottles of liquor from the store. The suspect is suspected of committing two other retail thefts in January and February of this year. Total loss is $483.84.
DISPUTE
Employees for a business in the 1600 block of Milwaukee Avenue called police at 12:12 p.m. April 5, to report a customer was smoking inside against the posted rules. The customer yelled at the staff. The employee called the police and the customer left.
FLEEING AND ELUDING
Police saw two vehicles stopped next to each other at 3:03 a.m. April 7, in the roadway near the 1400 block of Milwaukee Avenue. When officers neared, the vehicles accelerated southbound Milwaukee Avenue at a high speed, exceeding 100 mph. Officers did not pursue and lost sight of them. One vehicle was described as a light-colored sedan and the other was a dark-colored SUV.
