First Annual Oktoberfest Celebration at Glenview House This September

Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 22 and come celebrate Oktoberfest at Glenview House!  Inspired by the famous German tradition, Glenview House will provide authentic grub, grog and live music during the all day festival. Guests can start their celebration in the Oktoberfest tent located in the parking lot of the restaurant. Liter and half liters of beer will be in plentiful supply to help guests get into the true German spirit! Chef Grant Slauterbeck will be serving up classic German foods including brats, pretzels and wiener schnitzel in the tent party and in the restaurant as well for both lunch and dinner.

After filling your plates and glasses with food and beer under the festival tent, be sure to enjoy a polka or two from Die Musikmeisters German band playing a rousing blend of traditional German music. Their performances will take place from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and then again from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.  The Die Musikmeisters will be entertaining the crowd with the musical sounds of a clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, accordion, tuba, trombone, and drums.

Saturday, September 22. The Oktoberfest tent party will be open from 1:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Glenview House will be open for regular dining from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.
