This summer Push America’s Journey of Hope team will again ride across the country to raise awareness to communities about children with special needs. On Tuesday, July 26th Journey of Hope will ride through Chicago’s North Shore stopping in Glenview, and with your help we’ll make their visit a great one!
A Big Blast Project, is a local not for profit organization that provides one-on-one gymnastics therapy and ‘buddy’ recreat...ional therapy for kids with special needs. We are thrilled to host a friendship visit between the cyclists and our special kids.
During their stop here in the North Shore, A Big Blast Project and our special needs community of kids look forward to welcoming the 40 riders to its “2nd Annual Big Blast Journey of Hope Celebration” taking place in Glenview at Flick Park, 3600 Glenview Rd. The fun will kick-off at 4:00pm with games, music, food, prizes, face painting and a Buddy Baseball game at 5:30.
