Wine Tasting Event Benefits Autism Speaks Glenview’s Flight Restaurant & Wine Bar Hosts July 12th Fundraiser

Flight Restaurant & Wine Bar, located at 1820 Tower Drive in the Glen Town Center, will host a wine tasting event to benefit the Chicagoland Chapter of Autism
Speaks, the nation’s largest autism science and advocacy organization.

The wine tasting will take place on Thursday evening, July 12th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and will include samplings from Flight’s new summer menu; creatively
paired with a variety of wine selections. The entire $10 per person cover charge will be donated to Autism Speaks.

“We are looking forward to our upcoming fundraiser and are thrilled to help support the work of Autism Speaks,” said Adam Bloom, Director of Operations for Flight
Restaurant & Wine Bar.  “We are anticipating a large turn-out and are excited to share our new menu items with
everyone who attends, while raising money and awareness for this important organization.”

Throughout the evening, guests will have an opportunity to purchase bottles of their favorite wine to further support Autism Speaks. “A portion of proceeds from all bottles sold during the wine tasting event will go directly to Autism Speaks,” said Bloom. “To raise even more money during the wine tasting, we’ll also have several raffle drawings,” he adds. “In addition, we will be giving Flight gift
cards to all who attend as our way of saying thank you.”

“It’s sure to be a wonderful event,” said Dana Morris, Events Director for the Chicagoland Chapter of Autism Speaks. “Money raised from the wine tasting at
Flight will support Ed Weisbaum’s Walk Now for Autism Speaks team, which is called Steven’s Pride – in honor of
his son Steven, who has autism,” she adds. “Ed is one of our top fundraisers in Chicago, and we are very grateful to the owners of Flight for their interest in supporting our cause and for hosting, what will surely be, a very fun evening.”
