DOMESTIC BATTERY

  • Antonio Quintero, 37, of Glenview, is accused of domestic battery, criminal damage to property, and was arrested at 9:01 p.m. Jan. 30, following an investigation. He was held for a bond hearing at the Skokie Courthouse.
  • Barbara Szafraniec, 42, of Glenview, is accused of domestic battery, and was arrested at 10:28 p.m. Jan. 30, following an investigation. She was held for a bond hearing.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

  • Enrique Tostado, 29, of the 3600 block of W. Drake Avenue, Chicago, is accused of driving under the influence, driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, illegal transportation of alcohol, speeding 21-25 mph over the speed limit, and was arrested at 11:10 p.m. Jan. 26, following a traffic stop in the 1400 block of Waukegan Road. He was released on $1,000 D-Bond and was assigned a court date of Feb. 23.
  • Kirstin Fordyce, 39, of the 2000 block of Primrose Drive, Plainfield, is accused of aggravated driving under the influence, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence with a blood alcohol concentration level over .08, illegal transportation of alcohol by driver, and was arrested at 1:21 p.m. Jan. 27, following a report of a driving complaint in the 2700 block of Sable Drive. She was held for a bond hearing.
  • Todd Geissler, 48, of the 5200 block of Suffield Terrace, Skokie, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of drugs, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and was arrested at 2:41 p.m. Jan. 24. He was released after posting a $1,000 bond and was assigned a court date of Feb. 28.

INCIDENTS

IDENTITY THEFT

  • A Glenview resident reported at 11:11 a.m. Jan. 25, someone used their Nordstrom Credit Card to make a purchase on an unknown date for an unknown amount at a business in Oakbrook.
  • A Glenview resident called police at 5:31 p.m. Jan. 26, to report someone used their identifying information to open an account with Stripe.

THEFT

  • A Glenview resident called police at 1:39 p.m. Jan. 25, to report someone stole a package from a community mailroom in the 100 block of Waukegan Road. The reported loss is $143.
  • A manager of a business in the 2800 block of Patriot Boulevard reported at 11:11 a.m. Jan. 28, that between Dec. 30, 2021, and Jan. 17, 2022, a former employee stole cash from the cash register while he was working. The employee agreed to pay restitution and was issued a village ordinance citation.

RETAIL THEFT

An employee of a business in the 2300 block of Capital Drive reported at 10:15 a.m. Jan. 24, someone stole Gillette disposable razors, Crest white strips, and a variety of over-the-counter medications.

BATTERY

  • Police responded at 7:52 p.m. Jan. 26, to a report of several employees fighting in the kitchen of a restaurant in the 1600 block of Milwaukee Avenue. During the confrontation, one person punched another in the face, causing a bruise.
  • An employee of a business in the 9800 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported at 5:02 p.m. Jan. 29, a customer attempted to hit them after learning the dining room was not open. The customer was given a trespass warning to the business and told not to return.

SUSPENDED REGISTRATION

A Glenview resident was cited for a suspended registration at 10:07 p.m. Jan. 26, following a traffic stop in the 1700 block of Greenwood Road. The driver was also given a verbal warning for speeding. They were issued an I-Bond with a return court date set for Feb. 10.

FORGERY

A resident in the 2200 block of Henley Street reported that between Jan. 16 and Jan. 18, someone washed a personal check and replaced the name on the check.

BURGLARY FROM VEHICLE

A resident in the 700 block of Becker Road called police on Jan. 28 to report that at 4:32 a.m., someone entered their vehicle and stole a radar detector.

NO VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE

A Chicago resident was cited at 11:17 p.m. Jan. 29, for no valid driver's license, one tail lamp, after a traffic stop at Greenwood Road and East Lake Avenue. They were released on an I-Bond and given a court date of March 15.

SPEEDING

A Glenview resident was cited for speeding 26-34 mph over the speed limit, invalid driver's license, violation of nighttime driving restrictions, after a traffic stop Jan. 29 in the 700 block of East Lake Avenue. They were released on an I-Bond with a court date of Feb. 28 assigned.

MINOR IN POSSESSION OF ALCOHOL

Three Glenview residents were cited at 2:11 a.m. Jan. 30, for minor in possession of alcohol following a call of a disturbance at a hotel in the 1400 block of Milwaukee Avenue.

DISPUTE

Employees of a business in the 2000 block of Tower Drive reported at 6:23 p.m. Jan. 31, a dispute with customers following a dispute over a bill.
