Fire Extinguisher Stolen: Glenview Police Blotter

Recent reports from the Glenview Police Department include a shopper on Tower Drive who had a car window broken.

Burglary

On Dec. 13 at 4:05 p.m., a shopper in the 1400 block of Waukegan Road reported someone entered their unlocked vehicle and took a purse from inside. The reported loss is $350.

On Dec. 26 at 9:41 a.m., two unlocked vehicles parked on a driveway in the 3100 block of Lindenwood were entered and money was taken. The reported loss is $300.

Criminal Damage

On Dec. 13 at 9:03 p.m., a shopper in the 1900 block of Tower Drive reported someone broke a window on their car. The reported loss is $300.

Dispute

On Dec. 18 at 10:51 p.m., an employee in the 1600 block of Waukegan Road reported an argument with another employee.

On Dec. 26 at 10:34 p.m., a Chicago resident disputed a payment for service in the 1800 block of Lehigh Avenue.

Retail Theft

On Dec. 21 at 12:10 p.m., Tekeya Langston, 28, Chicago was charged with retail theft in the 1900 block of Tower Drive.

Battery

On Dec. 23 at 12:22 a.m., Gabar Negi, 49, Des Plaines was charged with battery after striking an employee in the face during an argument.

On Dec. 20 at 7:59 p.m., a resident in the 4100 block of Cove lane reported someone punched him after a dispute.

Identity Theft/Forgery

On Dec. 23 at 4:19 p.m. Melissa Wilson, 37, Chicago was arrested in the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue and charged with identity theft and forgery after attempting to purchase merchandise by fraudulent means with a value of $3,200.

Residential Burglary

On Dec. 20 at 12:26 p.m., a resident in the 4000 block of Blake Lane reported someone entered their house without permission and stole personal property. The reported loss is $2,000.

Theft

On Dec. 26 at 3:26 p.m., a patron in the 2700 block of Sable Lane reported someone stole a fire extinguisher. The reported loss is $500.
