ARRESTS

David Tregay, 60, of the 2100 block of Rugen Road, Glenview, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol with blood alcohol content greater than .08, and was arrested at 12:14 a.m. Sept. 14 after a traffic investigation in the 900 block of Harlem Avenue. He was released on $1,000 bond, and assigned a court date of Sept. 30.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

Corkey T. Johnson, 46, of the 6100 block of North Francisco Avenue, Chicago, is accused of residential burglary, and was arrested at 1:05 p.m. Sept. 17 at his residence. The arrest followed an investigation of a burglary occurring in the 4500 block of Concord Lane on June 26. He was processed and transported to the Skokie Courthouse on Sept. 18 for a bond hearing.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF DRUGS

Meghan Schiaffino, 26, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, is accused of driving under the influence of drugs, and was arrested at 4:53 p.m. Sept. 18. The arrest followed an investigation of a complaint of a suspicious vehicle in the 2500 block of East Lake Avenue. She was processed and released on a $3,000 bond.

NO VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE

Yulisa Diaz, 21, of the 0-100 block of North Branch Road, Northfield, is accused of driving without a valid driver's license, speeding, disobeying a traffic signal, and was arrested at 12:10 a.m. Sept. 20 following a traffic stop in the 2200 block of Waukegan Road. Diaz was processed and released on a $2,500 bond, and was assigned a court date of Oct. 29 in Skokie.

BATTERY

  • An employee of a business in the 2500 block of Waterview Drive reported at 11:25 a.m. Sept. 15 someone made unwanted physical contact with them in an insulting manner.
  • A motorist called police at 10:43 a.m. Sept. 20 to report being pushed by another motorist after a traffic dispute in the 2600 block of Landwehr Road.
  • A resident in the 2400 block of Saranac Lane reported at 4:19 p.m. Sept. 21 being pushed during a dispute.

AGGRAVATED IDENTITY THEFT

  • A Westleigh Drive resident called police at 1:52 p.m. Sept. 15 to report receiving a letter from the Illinois Department of Employment Security approving their unemployment benefits. No benefits were applied for. There is no personal loss.
  • A Glenview Road resident reported at 1:42 p.m. Sept. 16 several unauthorized purchases on their checking account and several pieces of jewelry missing from their residence. The reported loss is $9,000.
  • A Forest Drive resident called police at 10:10 a.m. Sept. 18 to report receiving a Key Bank debit card and a letter approving benefits from the Illinois Department of Employment Security for unemployment benefits they never applied for. There is no personal loss.
  • A Highand Lane resident reported at 2:06 p.m. Sept. 19 someone called threatening arrest if personal information was not given. There is no reported loss.
  • A Seminole Drive resident called police at 2:56 p.m. Sept. 19 to report receiving a letter from the Illinois Department of Employment Security approving unemployment benefits. They never applied for benefits. There is no personal loss.
  • A Cariann Lane resident reported at 8:07 p.m. Sept. 20 someone started cable service in California using their personal identifiers without permission. The reported loss is $2,100.
  • A Summit Drive resident called police at 2:34 p.m. Sept. 15 to report being contacted by someone from the Illinois Small Business Administration who said their personal information was used to apply for a COVID-19 Disaster Relief Loan. They never applied for a loan. There is no reported personal loss.

HARASSMENT BY ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION

A Waukegan Road resident called police at 1:41 p.m. Sept. 15 to report receiving unwanted Snapchat messages.

DISPUTE

  • A resident in the 100 block of Washington Street reported at 1:48 p.m. Sept. 15 a dispute with a contractor over payment.
  • A resident in the 1500 block of Greenwood Road called police at 12:19 p.m. Sept. 20 to report a dispute over parking with the owner of an adjacent property.

THEFT

  • A patron of a business in the 1000 block of Zenith Drive reported at 10:14 p.m. Sept. 15 someone stole a wallet containing identification out of an unattended duffle bag. The reported loss is $180.
  • A resident in the 1900 block of West Ridgewood Lane called police at 11:13 a.m. Sept. 16 to report someone used their credit cards after they misplaced their wallet. The reported loss is $160.
  • A Pebblecreek Drive resident reported at 3:19 p.m. Sept. 19 being contacted by someone identifying themselves as an Apple employee who said their account was locked and demanded money to unlock the account. The reported loss is $5,000.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

  • A resident in the 1400 block of Kittyhawk Lane called police at 5:31 p.m. Sept. 15 to report someone detonated fireworks inside their mailbox. There is no reported loss.
  • A large quantity of soap was discovered at 9:47 p.m. Sept. 18 in the fountain located at the corner of Tower Drive and Navy Boulevard. There is no reported loss.
  • An employee of a business in the 1600 block of Waukegan Road reported at 3:03 p.m. Sept. 21 being followed and harassed by a resident.

IDENTITY THEFT

  • A Michael Manor resident called police at 11:46 a.m. Sept. 17 to report someone made several unauthorized withdrawals from their bank account. The reported loss is $5,000.
  • A Hammersmith Lane resident reported at 7:54 p.m. Sept. 17 someone filed for unemployment benefits with the Illinois Department of Employment Security using their personal information. There is no personal loss.
  • A Grove Street resident called police at 3:27 p.m. Sept. 21 to report someone filed a fraudulent change of address for their residence with the post office. There is no reported loss

BURGLARY

  • A visitor of a residence in the 1400 block of Milwaukee Avenue called police at 5:48 p.m. Sept. 19 to report someone broke a window on their car in the parking lot and stole a purse from inside. The reported loss is $400.
  • A visitor of a residence in the 1400 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported at 5:48 p.m. Sept. 19 someone broke a window on their car in the parking lot and stole a purse from inside. The reported loss is $1,000.

ORDINANCE VIOLATION

  • Several residents in the 1100 block of Vernon Drive called police at 9 p.m. to report unwanted loud music.
  • An employee of a business in the 1900 block of Tower Drive reported at 9:18 a.m. Sept. 21 someone placed flyers on parked vehicles without permission.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

A resident in the 1400 block of Estate Lane called police at 2:34 p.m. Sept. 21 to report someone broke a lock and entered their residence taking personal property from inside. The reported loss is $550.

ASSAULT

A resident in the 2400 block of Waukegan Road reported at 11:31 p.m. Sept. 21 feeling threatened during an argument.
