FREE SPEECH AND OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY SCREENS
FREE Speech and Occupational Therapy Screens This Friday!

North Shore Pediatric Therapy has teamed up with Purple Monkey Playroom to offer FREE Speech and Occupational Therapy screenings on Friday, March 4th from 10am-12:30pm. If you have had concerns, or wondered about your child’s development, this is your chance to speak with our highly skilled therapists to discuss your concerns and develop an action plan.
Parents should schedule a speech screening for their child if:

- Their child has not achieved first words by 18 months
- Their child is not putting together two-three word phrases by 20 months
- They understand less than 50% of what their child is saying at 2 years OR other family members understand less than 50% of what their child saying at 3 years
- Their child does not have a vocabulary of 100 or more words by 2 years.

- Their child typically has difficulty focusing on tasks or wanders rather than initiating purposeful play
- Their child has food or texture aversions that lead to restricted food or clothing choices
- They are easily upset or overwhelmed by loud noises or crowded areas
- Their child struggles with drawing, coloring, writing, or other fine motor activities
- They have difficulty sitting still or often fall, crash, or bump into things
