GBS Homecoming Parade To Shut Down Streets
Parts of Lehigh Avenue and Shermer and Glenview roads will be closed Saturday morning.

GLENVIEW, IL — Street closures in Glenview will begin Friday evening and continue until the end of the Glenbrook South High School Homecoming parade Saturday. The parade route will be closed to traffic from 7 a.m. to noon, and commuter parking on Lehigh Avenue between Glenview and Rugen roads will be temporarily blocked off, according to an announcement from the Village of Glenview.
Areas of the below map indicated in orange will all be closed, including the triangular commuter parking lot north of Jackman Park. The route of the parade is highlighted in red.

The theme of GBS Homecoming 2017 is "Windy City South", which celebrates "everything great about Chicago."
Friday night fireworks are also scheduled as part of the festivities following the Titans' final regular season varsity football game against New Trier High School at 9:30 p.m.
