Glenview Chamber Honors First Responders, Business Person Of The Year
An event was held earlier this month at Avidor Glenview.

GLENVIEW, IL — When the horrific events of last July 4 occurred in Highland Park, local first responders from across the North Shore, including Glenview, quickly went to assist those dealing with the aftermath of the mass shooting. For their heroics not just then, but throughout the year, Glenview first responders were recently honored by the Glenview Chamber of Commerce as its "Business of the Year."
"Not only do the Glenview first responders support our local businesses with fire safety inspections, retail theft prevention strategies, safety/security assessments, answering alarm calls, CPR safety training, their leadership, their quick response, helped multiple individuals in our neighboring community of Highland Park on July 4," Glenview Chamber President Mike Moylan said during a special ceremony Jan. 11 at Avidor Glenview.
Additionally, Jeff Thoelecke, president of Glenview Bank & Trust, was awarded "Business Person of the Year" for 2022. Organizers commended Thoelecke for being active on the Glenview Park Foundation, Youth Services Glenview/Northbrook Board, and also volunteering with several other civic organizations.
