GLENVIEW, IL — The following information comes from the Glenview Police Department as a record of police activity. An arrest is not an indication of guilt. Criminal charges can be dropped or reduced and represent merely accusations. All defendants are innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
- At 9:11 a.m. on April 25, an employee in the 1800 block of Waukegan Road reported someone drove over a raised median and damaged a fence for a loss of $50.
- At 10:10 a.m. on April 25, a resident in the 1000 block of Prairie Lawn Road reported someone damaged sewer service equipment for a loss of over $2,000.
- Shortly after 9 a.m. on April 28, a resident in the 700 block of Harlem Avenue reported someone scratched their car trunk of their car for a loss of $1,000.
- At 9:27 a.m. on April 29, a resident of the 1600 block of Greenwood Road reported someone damaged their vehicle for a loss of $2,500.
- At 6:02 p.m. on May 1, an employee in the 1900 block of East Lake Avenue reported someone damaged their car for a loss of $200.
THEFT

At 12:52 p.m. on April 25, an employee in the 2000 block of Waukegan Road reported someone removed tires from the business without permission for a loss of $85.
HOME BURGLARY

At 3:49 p.m. on April 25, a resident in the 1000 block of Queens Lane reported someone entered his home and damaged a door and personal property for a loss of about $1,000.
DECEPTIVE PRACTICES
Around 5 p.m. on April 25, a resident of the 900 block of Glenview Road reported someone called and fraudulently said a family member needed money and asked for payment for a reported loss of over $300.
THEFT
At 11:35 a.m. on April 28, a resident in the 1400 block of Lehigh Avenue reported someone stole a package delivered to their residence for a loss of $1500.
TELEPHONE HARASSMENT
At 7:09 p.m. on April 28, a resident in the 900 block of Countryside Court reported receiving unwanted telephone calls.
DISTURBANCE
At 10:28 a.m. on April 29, a shopper in the 1000 block of Waukegan Road called police to report someone shouted obscenities and made rude gestures.
ELECTRONIC HARASSMENT
At 7:48 p.m. on April 25, a resident in the 1300 East Lake Avenue reported receiving unwanted text and telephone messages.
SHOPLIFTING
At 5:49 p.m. on April 30, an employee in the 1900 block of Tower Drive reported someone came into the store and walk out without paying for merchandise with a value of $130.
BURGLARY
At 6:17 p.m. on May 1, a guest in the 4000 block of West Lake Avenue reported someone broke a window on their car and stole two purses from inside for a loss of $400.
At 6:41 p.m. on May 1, another guest in the 4000 block of West Lake Avenue reported someone broke a window on their car and stole a purse from inside for a loss of $1,000.
ARRESTS
DOMESTIC BATTERY
Triston Lee, 31, of the 700 block of Walnut Avenue in Waukegan, was charged with Domestic Battery at 6:20 a.m. on April 30 after an investigation in the 3300 block of Milwaukee Avenue.
SUSPENDED LICENSE
A 32-year-old Glenview woman, of the 10300 block of Michael Todd Terrace, was arrested in the 2000 block of Harrison Street and charged with driving with a suspended or revoked license and speeding at 8:21 a.m. on May 1.
ASSAULT
Elvedin Blazevic, 24, of the 4600 block of West Lake Avenue was arrested and charged with assault in the same block at 8:48 p.m. on May 1.
SUSPENDED LICENSE
At 12:36 a.m. on May 3, a 30-year old Glenview man, of the 500 block of Glendale Road, was arrested in the 2000 block of Pfingsten Road and charged with driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured vehicle and speeding.
