Glenview Crime: Screaming, Drunken 'Leprechaun' Reported

INTOXICATED "LEPRECHAUN"

Around 11:28 p.m. on March 11, a passerby reported someone screaming in the 2300 block of Lehigh Avenue and officers discovered an intoxicated man dressed as a leprechaun.
NOISE COMPLAINT

Around 11:30 p.m. on March 11, after a passerby in the 2500 block of Chestnut Avenue reported hearing a female screaming in the park, three juveniles were located and turned over to their parents.
VEHICLE/EQUIPMENT THEFT
Shortly after 7:00 a.m. on March 7, a resident in the 300 block of Rollwind Road reported someone stole a vehicle from their driveway for a loss of $3,000.
Around 11:30 a.m. on March 9, an employee in the 1700 block of Waukegan Road reported someone rented equipment and never returned it for a loss of $5,000.
THEFT
At 4:38 p.m. on March 7, a commuter in the 1000 block of Harlem Avenue reported a bike locked to the bike rack was stolen for a loss of $520.
Around 5 p.m. on March 7, a resident in the 600 block of Lehigh Avenue reported someone took household merchandise from the front yard for a loss of $150.
At 8:20 a.m. on March 8, a patron in the 1800 block of Tower Drive reported someone took a purse from a table for a loss of $1,000.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
At 11:42 a.m. on March 7, a resident in the 4100 block of Miller Drive reported someone shattered the rear window of their vehicle for a loss of $1,000.
Around 5:30 a.m. on March 7, a patron in the 1400 block of Patriot Boulevard reported someone broke the back window of their car for a loss of $750.
Shortly before 1 p.m. on March 8, a resident in the 1300 block of Pinehurst Drive reported someone damaged a fence for a loss of $50.
Shortly after 2 p.m. on March 8, a resident in the 4500 block of Concord Lane reported damage to the entry door of the house for a loss of $400.
IDENTIFY THEFT
Around 3:30 p.m. on March 8, a resident in the 2800 block of Virginia Lane reported someone had filed a fraudulent 2016 tax statement in their name. There was no loss.
At 9:34 a.m. on March 9, a resident in the 3900 block of Harvest Lane reported someone used their personal information to open a credit card and charge merchandise without authorization for a loss of $3,600.
At 1:13 p.m. on March 10, a resident in the 2600 block of West Lake Avenue reported someone opened a fraudulent telephone account for no reported loss.
At 1:16 p.m. on March 10, a resident in the 300 block of Harlem Avenue reported someone opened a fraudulent telephone account in their name for no reported loss.
RETAIL THEFT
Just after 9 p.m. on March 8, an employee in the 1400 block of Waukegan Road reported someone came into the store, took five bottles of alcohol from the shelf worth $145 and left the store without paying for them.
Shortly before 6 p.m. on March 11, an employee in the 2200 block of Willow Road reported someone took clothing off a rack and left the store without paying for it for a loss of $120.
BURGLARY
Just before 8 p.m. on March 9, a resident in the 1800 block of Henley Street reported someone entered their vehicle and rummaged through it for no reported loss.
At 8:20 p.m. on March 9, another resident in the 1800 block of Henley Street said someone entered their unlocked vehicle and took an undisclosed amount of money.
UNWANTED PERSON
At 11:24 p.m. on March 11, an employee in the 3300 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported several persons were on the property without permission.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
At 6:23 a.m. on March 13, an employee in the 1500 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported a customer was causing a disturbance in the lobby.
DISTURBANCE
At 11:38 p.m. on March 13, an employee in the 1600 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported a customer was in the lobby acting strangely.
