Glenview Easter Egg Hunt

"Eggstravaganza" set for Saturday at Glenview Park Center.

GLENVIEW, IL — As North Shore communities prepare to mark Holy Week and Passover, there are family-friendly secular Easter celebrations scheduled over the next two weekend in the area. The Village of Glenview has scheduled its egg festivities for this Saturday. Promising "egg-citement" and "a hopping good time," the Glenview Park District has arranged an "Eggstravaganza" April 8 at 10 a.m..

There will be an "old-fashioned egg hunt," the park district said. Most such events have a BYOB (Bring Your Own Basket) policy and encourage attendees to arrive early to ensure participation.

The event has been scheduled for the main gym of the Park Center at 2400 Chestnut Avenue and is free and open to all. For more information call (847) 724-5670.
