Glenview Firefighters Responded To 10K Service Calls In 2024: Village

It marked the highest number of calls the department has ever responded to for a calendar year.

GLENVIEW, IL — Calling it a "busy" year, the Glenview Fire Department responded to 10,080 calls for service, the highest amount in the history of the department.

"We are proud to serve our community and wish everyone a safe and happy new year," GFD said in a social media post.

According to the Village, there are currently 80 members of the Glenview Fire Department, working out of five stations (No. 6, 7, 8, 13, 14).
