Vienna has been inducting Chicago-area hot dog joints into a hall of fame since 2006 based on customer satisfaction, community service and the sale of Vienna Beef products, the Glenview Announcements reports.
“We look at a restaurant’s longevity. The National Restaurant Association has said seven years of a successful restaurant is real good,” Vienna Beef vice president and Northbrook resident Bob Schwartz told the Glenview Announcements. “People come into the good hot stands and are made to feel special in good times and bad times."
