Glenview Man Charged With First-Degree Murder In Shooting: Police

GLENVIEW, IL — An arrest has been made in connection with the homicide of a Glenview man found dead inside his home earlier this month. Charles S. Poulos, 55, of the 20 block of Glenview Road, has been charged with first-degree murder, and was arrested Tuesday night, according to Glenview police.

Poulos was being held at the Glenview Police Department prior to a pretrial conditions hearing.

James M. Solger, 61, died as the result of multiple gunshot wounds, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. Police said they arrived at the home at around 7:31 p.m. March 2, and found Solger deceased in the home. Police believe this was an isolated incident.
