Glenview Patch Honors High School Graduates: Class Of 2020

This is the ninth installment of our salute to Class of 2020 high school graduates in Glenview.

GLENVIEW, IL — Glenview Patch wants to share the achievements of local high school graduates by putting them in the spotlight over the next few weeks. Due to the coronavirus, in-person instruction has canceled the rest of the 2019-2020 school year in Illinois. We know these wonderful seniors are missing out on some of the last moments of the school year.

We hope that this will give the community a way to share their pride in our Class of 2020 high school graduates. You can find the form here if you'd like to add your graduate. Patch will be updating this form until May 31.

Ariya Patel, Glenbrook South

Ariya was co-founder of Glenview's Got STEAM and on the board of the Women in Stem club. She was on the varsity tennis player for three years and varsity track her last year. She had the opportunity to intern at a tech start up last summer called Prepared Health. She will be attending University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign for Computer Engineering.

Alyssa Demos, Glenbrook South

Alyssa was involved with swimming and water polo. She will attend Grand Valley State to study elementary Ed/speech pathologist.

Danielle Arvanitis, Glenbrook South

Danielle played tennis all four years of high school. She was also a sports writer for The Oracle. She will be attending DePaul University and majoring in Marketing.

Zachary Malis, Glenbrook South

Zachary was a High honors student and involved with National Honor Society and Varsity Baseball. He will attend Washington University in St. Louis (School of Business) and play Varsity Baseball.

Message from the family: "We are so proud of your successes and the young man you are. Keep setting the bar higher. Love Mom and Dad."


Paris Levin, New Trier High Schcol

Paris will attend Colorado College.

David Atto, Glenbrook South

David was a High honor roll student, AVID Reader, Engineering club and Chess club member. He will be attending University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign to study Engineering/ Computer Science.

Message from the family: "David, we are beyond proud of your academic success! U of I is so lucky to have you there. We know that you will add great contributions! Best of luck to you and all of the graduates of 2020!"
