Glenview Patch Honors High School Graduates: Class Of 2020

GLENVIEW, IL — Glenview Patch wants to share the achievements of local high school graduates by putting them in the spotlight over the next few weeks. Due to the coronavirus, in-person instruction has canceled the rest of the 2019-2020 school year in Illinois. We know these wonderful seniors are missing out on some of the last moments of the school year.

We hope that this will give the community a way to share their pride in our Class of 2020 high school graduates. You can find the form here if you'd like to add your graduate. Patch will be updating this form until May 31.

Here are a few more Glenview Class of 2020 high school graduates:

Ben Stannard, Glenbrook South

Ben played hockey, was active in GBS TV and peer mentoring. He will attend Indiana University Bloomington and study Media industry, policy and ethics in the Media School.

Message from the family: "Ben- Congratulations on all you success! We are so excited for you and know that the next four years at IU will be amazing!"

Lauren Hammersley, Glenbrook South

Lauren played tennis, was a Peer Mentor and member of Circle of Friends. She will attend Syracuse University's School of Education in the fall.

Message from the family: "Congratulations, Laur! We are so very proud of you, and as you pursue this next chapter of your life, always remember how much you are loved and supported! Love you always, Mom, Dad, Jessica, Evan, and Toby."

Jack Dolan, Glenbrook South

Jack will attend Miami of Ohio-Oxford.

Message from the family: "Happy May Day. Congratulations Jack! Your dad is looking down from heaven smiling. He has always been so proud of you, just like I am! Your junior year....tragically losing your dad, senior year lost to a pandemic. It is the hard days — the times that challenge you to your very core — that will determine who you are. You will be defined not just by what you achieve, but by how you survive. I am and will be with you every step of the way! I love you so so much!"

Nicolas Botvinnik, Glenbrook South

Nicholas played hockey. He will attend Barrett Honors College at Arizona State to study Business.

Sophie Pritikin, Glenbrook South

Sophie was involved with Orchesis, Chamber Singers, Master Singers, Glenbrook Musical, V-Show Singer/Dancer, Peer Group Leader and TLC Tutor. She will attend University of Wisconsin to study Business.

Message from the family: "Congratulations Sophie! We are so incredibly proud of everything you have achieved at Glenbrook South and we loved watching you shine on stage at every performance! We love you and can't wait to see you follow your dreams at University of Wisconsin!"
