Glenview Police Department's 2nd Annual National Missing Children's Day Event
FAMILY FRIENDLY FUN to Honor Missing Children and Keep Our Children SAFE!

SAVE-THE-DATE! Glenview Police Department’s 2nd Annual National Missing Children’s Day Event!According to the FBI, in 2016 there were 465,676 entries for missing children. Similarly, in 2015, the total number of missing children entries was 460,699. Unfortunately the number as gone up! In addition, of the 18,500 endangered runaways reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, 1 in 6 were likely victims of child sex trafficking. Also, NCMEC sent more than 143,000 notifications to electronic service providers regarding publicly accessible websites on which suspected child sexual abuse image appeared. These numbers are too high and we need to do something about it!
Glenview Police Department is actively assisting the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children by raising awareness in how to protest our children and assisting in the search for our children that have yet to be found. In honor of National Missing Children’s Day (May 25th) the Glenview Police Department will be hosting our 2nd annual event on May 20, 2017!
