Glenview Road To Remain Closed, Funding For Construction Projects Threatened
Work on Glenview Road will continue through June 30, at least.

GLENVIEW, IL — Glenview Road will stay closed from Waukegan Road to the West Fork of the Chicago River's North Branch through June 30 during the installation of underground utilities as part of the the Glenview Road streetscape project.
Through traffic will continue to be routed onto Dewes Street from Waukegan Road to Harlem Avenue, and businesses on Glenview Road are open and accessible during the construction.
The Village of Glenview said it has been notified by the Illinois Department of Transportation that unless additional funding is allocated, all state-funded construction projects will be put on hold beginning July 1 as a result of the Illinois budget impasse.
