Veterans Day 2017: Glenview Salutes Veterans With School Band
The 19th annual Salute to Veterans Program will feature a keynote address from U.S. Army Technical Sergeant Robert Crampton.

GLENVIEW, IL — Ahead of Veterans Day on Saturday, Glenview's 19th Annual Salute to Veterans Program on Wednesday. The free event will feature a keynote address from U.S. Army Technical Sergeant Robert Crampton, and the Attea Middle School band and chorus will provide music. Cake and coffee will be served, according to the Glenview Park District.
The event is being presented by the American Legion Post 166, the East Wing, and U.S. Navy Commander John Wowk.
Doors open at the Lakeview Room, 2400 Chestnut Ave., at 9:15 a.m., music begins at 9:45 a.m. and the program is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. (Call 847-724-4793 for more information.)
